Broncos need ..... ????

I must have missed the part where you conceded that point.

Murray started coaching norths before the storm existed and stopped coaching them in 2000. His club was affiliated to the storm, he wasn't part of their recruitment team.

I don't get why you are getting so defensive of the storm lol. It IS embarrassing for the nrl they haven't developed VICTORIAN players. Extremly embarrassing no matter how much you dodge that fact.

Murray was Norths’ CEO as well. Storm had him in various roles.

Falcons are currently the Storm’s main feeder. Last week they had nine Storm players.

Ingebrigtsen is employed by the Storm to coach the Falcons. He was moved there by the Storm from Easts. He speaks to Bellamy every week and gets instructions every week.

If you think they just dump guys and don’t have their people in charge you’re crazy. You don’t just trust Greg Inglis with anyone.

Because all those awesome Jets players can't make the jump to the big leagues these days.

Joe is going well.

Ipswich and Brisbane are different cities. Old mate wants only Brisbane players. Jets are no good to his theory.

I think you’ve just realised how silly your point that you should only play for where you’re from really was.
I didn't make that point at all haha. Did you read my comments or are you getting me mixed up with someone else? And when Bribie island brings in an nrl team I'll happily wish Gillett all the best and let him play for them. Victoria is a pretty small place though with not many people so poor storm can't be expected to produce players from that small area after 20 years. It's so unfair for them....

He was their CEO AFTER he coached the storm so I don't get how that is relevant. How does any of those points change the fact he was ALREADY norths coach and brought him there on the back of that? There's even an article on fox sports today on their recruitment where it states

"But the pair's previous role as coach and scout for feeder side Norths Devils left Melbourne with the three greatest to ever pull on the purple."

Probably all that Brisbane Broncos training he attends. How are Billy McConnachie, Carlin Anderson, Josh Cleeland, Nemani Valekapa and Rod Griffin going?
Carlin Anderson is up at the Blackhawks now and will probably get a run with them in a year or two and we'll be like wtf why didn't we use him when he was down here lol

And fans will forget when he was signed he had multiple injury set-backs and some indifferent form at the Jets which prevented him from being selected.

Not that this is a competition, but the better question maybe why did the Broncos sign David Mead, Marion Seve and Moses Pangai instead of sticking with one of the most talented prospects in both Intrust Super Cups.

There were murmurs about Anderson's commitment, but above all else the biggest knock on Carlin was how he would handle the transition from fullback to the wing. Greg Eden, who ended up replacing Carlin Anderson as the backline bolter, was a very similar player albeit Anderson seemed far more acclimatized than Greg.

Yeah I read several times you say you shouldn't take players that aren't in your region or backyard and the Storm should have Melbourne players.

Yet then you say Brisbane can recruit from anywhere on the globe- so you can see my confusion at this terrible thought out point.

Billy did his knee and never had a Broncos' contact.
Carlin broke his jaw twice while a Bronco and left for the Cowboys had a great year this year.
Cleeland and Griffin made the ISC team of the year for the Bulldogs- isn't the coach that didn't pick them now sacked?
Nem never had anything to do with any NRL side.

Notice you left off Capewell the premiership winner?

Two broken jaws in your one year contact don't ever help. Never know what could have been. He was very good this year and really thrived at Townsville.

I noticed he didn't play a single minute in the grand final.

Should somebody tell Mick Ennis he's a two time premiership winner?

I can’t be any more explicit in my explaining of how feeder clubs work. Particularly the Storm.

Shane Walker and Steven Price both have rings without playing.

I have no issue with guys from throughout the year being premiership players.

Should be a minimum amount of games to get the ring.
