How can you say Roosters shouldnt have cap? Umm they just lost RTS and Maloney..They have got Hastings to play 6..and are moving Ferguson to FB. They bought Jayden Niko and have a young Latrell Mitchell..
The talk is Copley to Roosters and Jennings to Parra..
This move along with the others gone will have freed up their cap for SBW in 2017.

So the roosters lose RTS and Maloney so now they can buy Copley and SBW. We lose Hodges and about a dozen others but still can't afford Roberts without losing Copley according to the media. None of this shit makes any sense to me.

Hi Daniel, hoping you have had a wondrous Christmas and are looking forward to a fabulous new year festivities this evening. Daniel, have you heard anything about the possibility of Hayne going to the Roosters?

You have made my day on far too many occasions

They re-signed a bunch of players that required considerable upgrades, like us. They moved on Maloney, like we did with Hodges. They lost RTS, who was on a budget deal as he was serving an apprenticeship, they also poached not just one, but multiple talented juniors who's incumbent club fought to keep them. We lost a bunch of talented junior halves, as well as established first-graders like Dodds, Vidot etc. We also no longer have to pay a few players that were moved on and we were subsidising.

At worst, we should be in a similar position. Arguably we should be better off than them. But not in the world of Politis. The Broncos won't release Copley for cheap, especially not to the Roosters. They'd should have to release Skidsy or Jennings as was mentioned above.

The rumour is that the Roosters are offloading Jennings to Parra to sign Copely.
Panthers were subsidising a chunk of Jennings, from memory, so that may have come to an end.

Damn.

Why couldn't we hold off on Roberts and sign Jennings instead?

Roberts will push out jennings either to wing or out of nsw side this yr..Ferguson or Dugan in 1 centre and Roberts the other.

Why would you have a mud crab when lobsters are on sale?

Funnily enough the only thing wrong with Roberts is he has hands like a lobster.. But hopefully we can fix that before next season.

Nice.

Unfortunately for the Roosters (or the Eels), Jennings doesn't have a vice like grip. Last year he recorded 31 errors, which is only 3 less than Roberts.

Brown paper bags. Big ones. Seriously.

Just for reference, I would prefer Roberts at the price we got him over Jennings any day of the week. Just in case you thought I was implying I'd prefer Michael.

Roberts is a good player to have when you're going up against a bottom 8 side.. Or a side that's out of form.

But in the big games against the top teams, that's when I would prefer Jennings.

One of the reasons why I want Jennings over Roberts, he has more to his game than just speed.

That's what we have Bennett for my friend...
