I can tell you that only 1 of 24 horses has a chance on Tuesday and I will be absolutely right. Just wait til Tuesday, you'll see...

But it doesn't amount to much in the scheme of things that sort of info, ie: no name...

See as opposed to your 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink' routine here is something approaching a rumour. McGuire has told Journos he wants the Broncs no. 13 jersey next year. So that to me suggests someone else will be or is likely to be starting at prop and I'm happy to give you a source, the journo is Chris Garry and I've attached some evidence of this.

No-one expects that much from you, but a name would lend some credence to your claim at least...

Agreed, Nor do I think Bennett is intending to start Dodds or Thaiday at prop, so one can only assume some signing is actually in the works if not already done...

I think we are stuck with McGuire at prop but I think he can play multiple roles and continue to believe we should have at least one more bigger capable front rower in the side. It doesn't mean I don't rate McGuire highly.

Can you see any of our young forwards being able to start at lock? I don't think it makes a huge difference, only that McGuire will probably play more minutes at lock (seems like they usually do).

JD's last club doesn't have any outstanding front rowers ... so my guess is NO.

My source is a well established President of a QRL Club that is a feeder club to the Broncos. He is very good friends with the Broncos CEO's blood relative ( without giving to much away)

I m good friends with this person and he has been letting me know what is going on:

- we did make a play at Ash Taylor to bring him back ( but he chose to stay at the titans)
- There is allot more to the Ben Hunt situation and Benji was brought in as a back up.
- These were his words " Bronco will be announcing soon a big name prop for the 2017 season" who it is, that he wanted to keep to himself so not to identify people who leaked it to him.

That's all i can tell you - i am only reporting what i have been told - my source has been spot on so far with hing he told me last year.

So as i said i guess we will wait and see what happens - if it comes true well then my source was spot on if not no damage done.

Didn't roger wilco say Taylor was definitely coming back ?? He only extended for 1 year as well. I think hunt will be gone when Taylor comes of contract next

This is a rumour thread so thanks for telling us what you heard and I hope your source is right. I think we're a big chance next year and one more good prop would make us specials.

In a way I would be annoyed if we do sign one though. Wayne made it pretty clear a couple of weeks ago that we didn't have the room in the cap to sign an experienced prop. From memory he went as far as to say one of the young guys would have to step up the way Parker had to at the start of his career.

I understand the need to keep player negotiations secret but there is a big difference between keeping your cards close to your chest and telling an outright lie.
