And what’s your response to the spoon... chuck the same team out their and have Glenn the last man standing as our captain... your probably in fairy land thinking we’re gonna sign fucking Tedesco this season... how about get a tad realistic and realise we’re not gonna get anyone much better than McGuire escpecially for their money you can probably snag him for considering he is now quite underrated and reportedly is missing out on origin

What accounts? He is the last bloke to make captain. Watch the sponsors who haven't walked yet walk away. He's overrated too.

What a rational response. You have just made a bunch of assumptions because I think McGuire is a bad signing. I did not mention Glenn or the make up of the side. But yeah I'm the one in fairy land. Origin selection won't affect his money. Cowboys wanting to move him on will. I wonder why they want to move him on? He's not underrated. He's more trouble than he's worth.

Well he just got voted Players Player of The Year. Its more McGuire seeking the release to be closer to family I've heard.
 
Before we all talk as if he is coming back where is the actual report that he is coming back to Brisbane I can’t find it anywhere

People need to give up the 2021 Grant pipe dream.

Melbourne will not lose him regardless of what happens with Cameron. Unless you throw a million at him, which he may be worth sooner rather than later, but you’d be crazy to do that now

Maybe but you need to be bold. This is not some random kid, this is a guy who you can build a side around ala Smith. He has openly said that if Smith plays on, he is leaving Melbourne. He is not totally out of reach.

not even Bellamy will be able to get Grant to hang around as a back up.

that being said, all signs are pointing to Smith retiring and Grant being first choice at the Storm.
 
So Hodges axed from origin coaching staff hey..
I wonder if that is because Kevvie is bringing him in as an assistant? Hope so..
