I don’t mind it😂 A team full of lose units is no good but I like at least one bad bastard!
Hes not the pick for me. I also feel his career is on the downward trajectory in the next few yeara

Our biggest weskness, defence, fell apart when Gillett got injured and subsequently retired. There aren't many players like him around, but that's where we need to start.

I also wonder if Kevvy will go balls out, say **** you to the media, and give Lodge the captaincy. By all accounts he deserves it. Just depends on whether Broncos ex-greats embrace the idea or not, and what the climate will be re. Burgess.

I hope not. Dobbo us usually wrong so that's a positive
Why the only negative too him is discipline and if we are to do well it’s through discipline and there’s 3 or 4 players that will need to change with him... it’s worth it... preferably he would be captain too... I don’t think Glenn brings anything to the table in that regard Carrigan is too young and the board aren’t gonna support lodge as captain so why not bring him back... he is leader and quality consistent forward we need

I'd be happy with it as long as he isnt on stupid money. He has been excellent this year for the cowgirls, and he would give us a lot of what this pack is lacking. He would be a huge upgrade on Joffa, Flegler, Kennedy and even TPJ. Moose might be a grub at times, but he does it better than TPJ who is just dumb.

Not a fan , would much rather sua back for that aggressive roll
First of all just questioning if your not a fan of McGuire... and if so I disagree I personally think if pangai stays him and Riki are a very talented and quality second row whilst I think haas and Carrigan should be our starting props for the years to come until McGuire retires and even than piakura will have hopefully emerged as the player he is growing to be

Are you saying McGuire at lock? I’m confused.

Piakura is a back rower, he doesn’t play in the same position as Moose.

Yes he does McGuire is only playing prop at cows because of taumalolo... personally he is a much better lock but honestly if Carrigan stayed at lock and McGuire started at Prop I couldn’t care less

McGuire, Su'A, Allan, Grant, Capewell, Johnson? in

Joffa, Fifita, Bird, Turpin, Milford, Oates out

I'd say this is pretty possible. Johnson is gettable from the Sharks and I reckon he would be perfect for Dearden and likely on less than Milford. If you could dump someone else as well, don't care who and make Grant an in as well, groundwork laid for a very competitive year even next year:

1. Allan
2. Farnworth
3. Staggs (Capewell until Staggs is fit)
4. Isaako / Capewell (see who is going better once Staggs is back)
5. Coates
6. Johnson
7. Dearden
8. Lodge
9. Grant
10. Carrigan
11. Su'A
12. Haas
13. McGuire

14. Paix?
15. Flegler
16. TPJ
17. Riki

This is very doable! Get Grant in first and work your way back from there.

Obviously that’s not gonna be our side next year but I agree with you except I don’t agree with second row don’t think Su’A is a must have and Haas is a high 200 to 300 metre prop we want him at prop but the rest I quite like... whilst I think Allan would be decent I reckon his recent performances could realistically have gotten him the starting fullback spot at the rabbitohs

No, Moose plays prop or lock, Brendan Piakura plays edge back row. Revisit this in a couple of years and see where he will be playing. It will be edge back row.

We just got the spoon and you want to sign a liability and make him captain? We already have a major discipline problem. You should join the board. He is no leader. He's a divisive grub who is on the decline.

I reckon our next year side could do well with this side
1. French (Bevan)
2. Farnworth
3. Staggs
4. Whare
5. Coates
6. Milford
7. Dearden
8. Carrigan
9. Grant
10. Haas
11. Glenn
12. Pangai Jnr
13. McGuire (C)
14. Paix
15. Flegler
16. Bullemor
17. Riki

The exit of Turpin Lodge Bird Ofehangue & Oates will hopefully clear up cap for Bevan French who will be cheap as well as whare, McGuire omission from origin will make him I reckon 500,000 and hopefully the left over cap us Grant... top 8 side and than if Milford doesn’t perform a million next year for a decent 6 and resignings
