More like Bird to 6 and Opa to 3.
Nikorima didn't sign a 3 year extension to continue to ply his trade off the bench. It's pretty much a lock that he's starting in the halves next year imo.

Niko signed a 3 year extension because he had no other options, nobody else wanted him. He is only on a minimal wage which is perfect for a sometimes bench player. The notion that Bennett is paying Bird massive money to play centre or lock is ludicrous.Nikorima didn't sign a 3 year extension to continue to ply his trade off the bench. I think in terms of the team composition that him playing centre is best, but I'm not sure he will be, I doubt Wayne is on board with paying something like $1.4m of our salary cap on just our centres.. But you never know.
I like the make-up of our 2018 squad with Bird at Centre, I'd be throwing TPJ in to the starting line-up, get him combining with Milford & Bird on the left edge, we'd be unstoppable.
2018 -
1. Boyd (c)
2. Oates
3. Roberts
4. Bird
5. Kahu
6. Milford
7. Nikorima
8. Ofahengaue
9. McCullough
10. Blair
11. Pangai Jr
12. Gillett
13. McGuire
14. Glenn
15. Thaiday
16. Sims
17. Fai / Lodge / Haas

I wouldn't mind TPJ in the second row if he could defend better, I don't think his defence is up to it. If he was going to start I think it has to be at lock with McGuire back to prop. One of Blair or Ofahengaue would go to the bench with Sims to drop out.
Everyone thought it was ridiculous to pay a winger in Folau what we did. Worked out great.
It's not a true Danoz post if it's not complaining about Sims..
This is literally like your 50th post asking for him to be dropped or saying that he's a dud, what's he done to you champ, pork your missus? I understand well and truly that he hasn't been a standout this year, but for the price we're paying him, he's giving us more than what you could find for that price anywhere on the open market. If he doesn't improve his game, he probably won't be a long-term fixture, your vendetta against him is getting a little tiresome though, we get it.
Hey, I like to be consistent.
Look I don't have a vendetta against the guy, I just think he is our weakest link in the forwards. Plain and simple.

Thaiday is our weakest link in the forwards, and he's being paid roughly 4x what Sims is being paid.
If you want to jump off the "Drop Sims" train for a bit ... how about you join the "Drop Moga" train ... plenty of room :p
BRONCOS coach Wayne Bennett insists Tom Opacic will not be granted a release despite Sydney NRL rivals circling the out-of-favour three-quarter.
The 100kg Opacic impressed in his rookie season last year but has been unable to break into the NRL this season after undergoing off-season shoulder surgery.
That opened the door for Cowboys import Tautau Moga, who has been a revelation for the Broncos this season at left centre.
Sydney clubs are keen to secure Opacic but with Moga going to the Knights next season, Bennett insists there is a future at Red Hill for the Queensland Residents representative.
