Broncos Player Movement and Rumours 2020

I was thinking the same thing until we let Arrow go, we wouldn't have done that if there was a pathway for him to potentially fight for a starting spot over the next year or two. I think McG will be in the 13 for the remainder of his career. TPJ will probably be a prop, he's 10cm taller & 10kg heavier than McGuire, it makes more sense to have the smaller guy at Lock.

TPJ has played a lot of lock it suits his skills, hoping he is a tuamalolo clone. I wouldn't be surprised if bird is lock next year anyway

He said it may not be until he retires and might just play park footy with his old union mates. I think assuming he stays this deal, he'll go to NZ next time round and it'll either be Warriors or Union. If we win a title that may make his mind up if he stays in league.

Foxsports reporting that Kahu has re-signed with us

Is there any updates on the JET, has he resigned??

Broncs have said they are confident of keeping him, Courier Mail said he was on the verge of signing with us, Peter Badel and Fox Sports have all said he is staying...

Those are all the updates I have seen and unfortunately none of them are official...

Yeah i meant re signed to the broncs..not resigned..we def want him to stay rest of his career. I thought it was going to be announced after the bulldogs game that he signed for a further 3 years. His manager needs an upper cut.

You got your wish buddy, he has signed a 4 year/2.2 million dollar deal.

BRONCOS coach Wayne Bennett insists Tom Opacic will not be granted a release despite Sydney NRL rivals circling the out-of-favour three-quarter.

The 100kg Opacic impressed in his rookie season last year but has been unable to break into the NRL this season after undergoing off-season shoulder surgery.

That opened the door for Cowboys import Tautau Moga, who has been a revelation for the Broncos this season at left centre.

Sydney clubs are keen to secure Opacic but with Moga going to the Knights next season, Bennett insists there is a future at Red Hill for the Queensland Residents representative.

I wonder if whats suggested in that article could mean Bird to 13 and Opacic to 3 next season :confusing:
