Yeah that would probably be more likely. Kyall will have them relocated to Mogas backyard to make it easier for him to get to matches and training. Moga Stadium has a nice ring to it.

Moga will also be the first $4 million dollar player.

Just saw an interview from Smith where he said coming to the Broncos was pretty much a done deal and he had told Craig Bellamy he was gone..

And we couldn't get that over the line...

How is that possible... someone thought Macca was a better investment lol

Is there a week that goes by without a player saying they were about to sign but didn't? Starting to think the club is actually run by Kyall and he has offered every single player a spot at the Broncos.

We know why. Because the Storm threw more money at him. If it was that much of a "done deal", it must have been a considerable amount, or contained a hell of a lot of sweeteners. We know Bellamy doesn't like to play by the rules.

Smith probably wouldn't fit in at the Broncs now anyway. We already have a coach.

I'd say there would have been a yacht of sweeteners added to the Storm deal

He just decided to go on another tack ...

It was aboat time an interview like this came out

Seems like he was fishing for a larger deal

He had a better reason than Inglis for turning us down. At least he had a note from the dock

then he waved us goodbye and suddenly it was never ashore thing.

Maybe he thought the Broncos at that time were rudderless?

He needed the money to keep his family afloat.

Signing with the Broncos would make too many waves.

The Broncos' offer was just a drop in the ocean compared to the Storm's.
