That sentence doesn't even make sense, Hodges retired in 2015

I know Bennett has a plan after releasing Blair but I hope our forwards don't slack off now that he isn't around. Blair was the 1%er man. Someone needs to fill that role. Also, we now need another leader in the forward pack who is going to ruffle EVERYONES feather. And by everyone, I mean Smith, Thurston, Slater etc. The ones we seem to pay too much of a compliment to. Blair did that in spades.
I want to see jack bird at centre or fullback, would much rather have Ofahengaue or Pangai starting at lock or prop(depending if McG gets moved back to prop) than we could see another big body forward get a chance for example.. Taueli, Haas, Carrigan(whom I rate over every young forward we have) Mago or Lodge
Exactly. Why would you waste an attacking talent like Bird in the forwards.
And why the hell not?
It's relevant, current and of great importance for the Broncos future, as we could mortgage a big slice of our cap on a guy that played 2 seasons above average in the position in his whole career, and is not gonna get better with age.
Don't want to discuss or read it? Skip right ahead to the next post.
BOOM! Get that it in to ya Porthoz hahahaBecause we know where it all stems from.
You hated Bennett coming back from the start, for a reason that was legitimate, but in no way related to his ability to coach. You hated Boyd coming because you had heard from a guy that Bennett had a choice between Boyd and Player X, and he chose Boyd. You had to bite your tongue for the 2015 season because Bennett proved exactly why he is rated by some as the best coach in the game.
Since then you've found every reason to back your initial dislike for him being our coach. He let one of your pet players go, despite it being the best thing for that player, and despite it looking like we'd have the code's best halves pairing for the long term, you've constantly tried to rewrite history and claim it was a bad decision. It wasn't.
Another pet player, Kahu, played well at fullback for the start of 2015, but in his few games since there has been pretty shit. Sure, he may become good again if he had an off-season there, he's arguably more talented than Boyd, but he has absolutely no where near Boyd's ability in defence, in organisation, and in leadership. Boyd had a poor end to 2017 by his standards, sure, but he has also been battling injury for that time and he was also dealing with the imminent death of his defacto mother. Many players with his upbringing and relationship with someone like that would have trouble running out, and yet even in that state, with one leg, he toughed it out for 50-odd minutes of a prelim final against the most dominant team in the last 10 years, and still was able to marshall our troops well enough to hold out admirably. Shit fell to pieces when he went off.
Why people bag Bennett and Boyd for their relationship is beyond me. Saying it clouds Bennett's judgement is a load of shit because both Bennett and Boyd have proven time & again to be the ultimate professionals and have proven twice over they are capable of winning premierships. 5 seconds away from a 3rd time.
So that's why. Agendas, rewriting history to suit them, and trying to justify your opinion from 3 years ago by constantly chipping away at every opportunity.

10. Sims(step up or **** off)
11. Gillett

14. Thaiday
15. Pangai Jr(If fit enough, push for a starting spot if Sims isn't up for it)
16. Lodge
17. Carrigan, Taueli, Savelio or Fai(I can't decide)
18. Haas

I sort of meant bigger as like, more powerful. Ofahengaue makes more metres in 20mins than Blair does in 50.But that starting pack is not really any bigger than this year’s...
Offa - 187cms, 112kgs.
Blair - 188cms, 110kgs.
That is the sole difference. Now if you started Lodge and Offa in the front row, that would be a slightly different story. The new front row would be taller and heavier...
Lodge -193cms, 110kgs. Offa - 187cms, 112kgs.
Sims - 189cms, 108kgs. Blair - 188cms, 110kgs.
