Could mean we will announce Boyds new contract also lodge possible and we really need depth at hooker . You could also add another prop and back for that matter. Taylor has been offered a huge deal , will be hard for cash Taylor to refuse.

White said yesterday that Boyd's deal will be done in the next few weeks. His words were finer details still to go.

You think lodge will be a bronco next year? Am concerned about our hooking options aswell, any thoughts on who we could use mate ?

I am surprised we didn’t resign Waddell. He was a handy back up and may have been cheap.

They could just get Jayden Burrell back, he's decent and can cover a few positions.

Me thinks they are going to go for a more attacking 9 so Waddell doesn't fit that profile. I wonder if they think jnik could make a good hooker

There were rumours a few years ago about Albert Vete coming but he re-signed with the Warriors. I'd like him and Alex Walmsley with Matt Lodge (small contract and if he acts up tear it up) and Charlie Galo fighting it out in the reserves for a spot.

As far as hookers/bench utilities go I would have said Mitch Rein but looks like he's heading to the Gold Coast. Would Kurt Baptiste be an option? Shaun Nona is apparently coming. Plus we still have Todd Murphy, Mitch Cronin, Matt Minto and Sam Scarlett running around in ISC. They could possibly do well as a backup hooker for 15-20 minutes a game. What's Billy Brittain doing next year?

That Vete rumour was actually end of last year and early this year, and whilst there was a news report that Vete was re-signing with the Warriors in the middle of this season, I'm not entirely sure that he actually has, the Warriors always announce signings / re-signings on social media, they haven't announced that Vete has re-signed at any stage.

If you have a knik do you need a jnik as well?

Well, yeah. If one goes down or plays 7 you have one as a backup / utility.
If we get jnik back it could mean Cronk signs with roosters.

Lodge is an unknown quantity.

Hooker I think Boyce if he is still around could be converted into a small bench hooker role. He defends in the middle is creative and has the right build.

Freeman too, I think could do it. Brittain is still at Norths.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I heard a rumour today that if Cronk Joins the Roosters, Pearce may come to the Broncos.
