Yeah, nothing is filling me with to much confidence though. Maybe it's because there's so much movement ,and we really haven't got any real solid signings .
 
Kind of hard to make massive name signing if you dont have any money left in the cap for one to begin with. People tend to forget just how many players we had to re-sign this year.

We also had a side buzzing with confidence and seasoned leaders like Hodges and Parker who knew exactly what to do and led by example. I'm not saying he can't get them going on the right path, but they do need to be prepared to put in the hard yards to get us back on track, that goes for the rest of the team as well.

How much were we offering Taylor anyway? Was it more a lifestyle offer that we had?

Not sure but joe said we were definitely interested , so that suggests we have some wiggle room.

We are trying to teach Kodi how to be a top level halfback, a talent he does not posses if we want to be top two. His game management and decision making is not there, kicking game is hot/cold (due to bad vision, strategy, game reading). Yes he short sharp and zippy, can throw reasonable passes but being able to structure a game, control it, and read it on the fly is what we need out of him. Watch him play - he is read easy by the opposition (except for slow lazy tired forwards on occasions) and this highlights lack of natural ability for the position.

You are describing someone you pay a million dollars for...like say...Milford?
 
You chase halves a year out because if you don't they are off the market ...

The same problem generally doesn't exist for forwards
 
Apparently Haas has a little brother. Picked for QLD in U16s. Might join his brother one day...
