The question is though how do they stack up against the kings of dog shit journalism ... Rothfield and Kent

IMO, Rothfield has the best contacts, by a long way. But his job isn't to report the complete truth, it's to drum up clicks by catering to the lowest common denominator.

I think Kent isn't actually a reporter. He's more a gossip merchant. Whatever intel he has he twists it and extrapolates it to suit whatever would make a good story. Always with an agenda.

You're ex staff mate, hence the prettier blue colour.

I know that, was just asking because I'd never seen the blue soup was wearing before, Contributor+ colour used to be green.

They both have very punchable faces

It will be. It was an experiment / broken.

rothfiled is an a grade gibberer but he does generally back up with real facts (sometimes)
kents a smug prick but he is normally close to the mark too and gets good mail - i reckon ikin gives him a fair bit out of the family connection.
i just cant wear badel and his fabricated horse shit and hooper is following his path. both of these blokes try to be smart and articulate but in reality its a fabrication.
everytime i see badel on tv or at q cup games i instantly think of kicking him in the nuts

Will pay the fine......

Slothfield posts up around 100+ sensational "about to break" headlines or "ssshhh" stories a year. Out of that, he would "break" about 5 stories that come to fruition. And that's being generous, often they are talked about in another media outlet before he "breaks" them (brisbane times/herald, the australian, online-pretty embarrassing when you consider the size of the team news corp has for the nrl but they are too busy bagging out the game to fulfil their agendas).

If you shoot a gun in to a crowd eventually you hit someone, it doesn't make you an excellent marksman.

Additionally, his despicable bias and hypocrisy, together with his year 8 level writing style and woman's day-like sensationalism makes him the figure head for how pitiful Australian sports media has become, particularly rugby league media

Rothfield does have extremely good contacts - but you'd expect him to. He's been employed for over 40 years by the Daily Telegraph. If you stick around long enough, you'll know everyone. His writing is actually pretty weak but he makes up for it with scoops from all his contacts.

Andrew Webster is up there with the worst. Transparently pumps up the Roosters with inside info on how the players actually pay to be there and they're $10 million under the salary cap, and goes hard in on his bizarre hatred of Bennett any chance he can.

Was off it at first. Kept thinking of Paul Gallen with the blue colour. Now I’m chuffed lol. Little things these days...

I'm working out how I can make it so you can choose your own colour :-)

Don't know if it has already been mentioned but it looks like Frank Kuresa (a young winger with blinding speed for those that don't know him) has moved to the Bulldogs. Does anyone know when this occurred?

Just read that we are having a crack at Brock Lamb.... Read it on some dodgy NRL rumours page on Facebook so maybe not too reliable but thought I would mention to see if anyone had heard similar? Would anyone be keen? Can't say I've seen too much of him...

I've said before, I'm keen, I rate him.

Saw on FB that we’re looking at Lamb. Smells like fake news, but wouldn’t be a bad signing.

Edit: never mind, should have read the thread lol

I'm not sure Knights would be looking to let him go now. Hodkinson is with the sharks and Cogger is off to the dogs next year so they've actually got no depth in the halves should Watson shit the bed.

lamb isnt a bad kid but more suited to 6 than a typical 7 role i think.
i like him as a player but i am not sold just yet, he sort of reminds me of a shane perry type - handy skills but not overly quick (i could well be wrong though about his pace)
