No way he doesn’t get a proper send off.
Loss to the cowboys in Townsville? Do a Tallis, petro and Parker

Yeah I agree he looks a development player and is far from the finished article... and we already have enough of them plying their trade in the halves.lamb isnt a bad kid but more suited to 6 than a typical 7 role i think.
i like him as a player but i am not sold just yet, he sort of reminds me of a shane perry type - handy skills but not overly quick (i could well be wrong though about his pace)
The true story of Alfie's immediate and sudden retirement is supposedly very different to that, and is the reason he is still working at the broncos. It's nothing he did bad but he got himself in a pickle and Bennett, and the broncos, helped him out a lot. It's not my story to tell but it isn't something that paints him in a bad light at all, just a situation he needed to get away from very quickly...Alfie pulled the pin because he was the HB and captain and he was really struggling. He got dragged against the lowly Cowboys and Ben Walker rallied the team to an eventual draw that night. Alfie was a perfectionist and anything below his best wasn't good enough for him hence his retirement. But it was a knee jerk reaction and the wrong move. Sammy will have a good season (as will the Broncos). You are thinking of the worst case scenario there. Kodi isn't the answer but it won't necessarily affect the Bronco's season, not to the extreme it did in '99 at least.
Wayne Bennett opens door for Redcliffe Dolphins recruit Jayden Nikorima

BRONCOS coach Wayne Bennett claims the door remains ajar for Jayden Nikorima to return to the NRL, as long as the Redcliffe recruit makes the most of his time in the Intrust Super Cup.
Nikorima, who was sacked by the Roosters at the end of last year for two failed drug tests, has signed with the Dolphins for this season.
Bennett said Nikorima should use his time in reserve grade in a similar way to Broncos prop Matt Lodge, who also played for Redcliffe last year.
Lodge will make his Broncos debut today in a trial clash with the Titans after using his time with Redcliffe to prove he had put his 2015 drunken rampage in New York behind him.
“Jayden won’t be playing for the Broncos this year in any way, shape or form, I’ve made that clear,” Bennett said.
“He’s a young man who has made some mistakes so this is a chance for him to get off the drugs, get his life in order and focus on football.
“He won’t play for the Broncos this year but down the track, there may be a chance for him.
“It’s very similar to Matt Lodge. He had a year with Redcliffe and the club did a wonderful job helping him with his rehabilitation and he’s now with us at the Broncos.
“Hopefully (Nikorima) can get some benefit by playing in the Intrust Super Cup.”
The Redcliffe Dolphins refused to comment on the Nikorima signing, despite including him in their player roster reveal on Instagram this week.
The QRL confirmed last night they would enforce Nikorima’s 12-match ban for his indiscretions, in alignment with the NRL’s rules.
This means he might not been seen until Round 14 when the Dolphins take on Norths at Bishop Park, with Redcliffe to have a bye in Round 9.
The New Zealand-born half played just seven NRL games for the Roosters during the 2016 season and spent most of his time in the Intrust Super Premiership with the Wyong Roos.
I'm on board with this model, let's bring every player who's ever had an indiscretion to Reddy for a season and then sign them on the cheap the year after.
I think Valentine Holmes broke curfew at Emerging Origin camp didn't he? That deserves a year at the Dolphins for sure.
Walters must be he most patient bloke in the galaxy. His skin is extremely thick as well
The lurker has said we are keen on Brock lamb for a 3 year deal....
So we can rule out the club being interested in Brock lamb. The lurker would have more success with his guesses if he picked names out of a barrel...
He has a great kicking and short passing game as well as improving our options heaps, but I don't feel like he'd be enough of an improvement on nikorima to justify the extra money and the potential loss of t Boyd or paix. In 2 years you'd hope one of those 2 may be able to play a game or 2 off the bench if need be anyway. And it kind of goes against the faith shown in nikorima
