"Trash" is a strong word but he definitely isn't the star winger the media like to portray him as. What has he done in his career to justify that level of praise? Standing deep in Radradra's shadow?

There's one Parra player, well 2 that are actually worth a damn and that's Brown and Alvaro.

If we wanted and Eels player Terepo would be a good bench weapon.

I dont think we need worry about spending huge amounts on any winger, let alone someone as unproven as french.
If he decided to come here on the cheap though, I wouldnt be against it. I just don't think he would offer more than Pearson and others we have right now could.
We have a selection of handy backs right now. None are guaranteed starters but they all have some potential. Pearson strikes me as someone who could go to the next level, if given an extended run.

I wouldn’t over pay for a winger but French has shown plenty of skill on the wing you can’t say he’s unproven.

I guess I see rep football or finals football as the rest of a player. I'm unaware if he has done that but was under the impression he hadn't.
He probably is a very skilled player but I would prefer to build from within from those positions like wing, utilities etc. as they are stepping stones for bringing in future spine players. Likewise, bench forwards.
They need the skill to play the position obviously and i am not against putting a specialist in the role if they have come from juniors or are cheap enough. It's just we have bigger roles that need the money spent on (props, halves).

Well if you ask me, Gutherson is the most overrated player in the league now, he was great last year but this year he has been a ball hog and continually takes the wrong options
