Even nicer with Bird instead of McCullough ....I so wish this happens. It will be a dream come true

To add to all the other rumours going around
would rather DCETitans can have him, we take Taylor back on a reduced rate
Titans can have him, we take Taylor back on a reduced rate
Thanks for the info 1910. How did the doggies manage to get him then I wonder.
That is just pure NRL idiocy. But they're saying that because of him and Fainu clubs are now pushing for those 3-6 development players able to be selected and a publishing of each top 30. Also if a player is released and you're paying him he is not still in your 30- which currently happens.
Which I didn't realise he stays in your 30- Myles is still in Manly's top 30 this year.
Wayne has said bird will not be leaving

Yeah well he owes the club frankly, we've essentially invested 12 months and somewhere around $750k (depending on who you talk too) into him on the back of very little return, releasing Jack fit and healthy to another club (particularly not to the friggin Sharks) to take advantage of would be just crazy.
I think I remember reading that he has things built into his contract that lets him out if there are changes to the club that affect the players/team( like the coach walking out). I could be wrong...Lol why would Manly even release DCE. Just not going to happen.
We cant have DCE....Kodi has been promised the 7 spot...
Rabbitohs lock Sam Burgess’ future is still up in the air as he looks to finalise his new deal with the club.
The 29-year old, who is contracted until the end of 2019, is eligible to sign with rival teams as of November 1, but the England international is keen to finish his career at Redfern.
Signing on with South Sydney for a further two seasons would take him through to the end of 2021, which leads into the World Cup in his native England.
“This decision is probably the biggest one for me because it’s my last contract,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald.
“I’m thinking post career, I’m thinking everything. I really need to give it some thought.
“In terms of getting one done before the season is out, I’m not sure.
That doesn’t mean I’m not going to be at South Sydney. I just want to be smart about it and think of the best deal for me and my family.
“I don’t know whether [the best post-career option is] coaching, whether it’s commercially or doing more media. But I’m keeping all my options open so I’m prepared and we’ve got a good plan in place.”
Burgess decision to hold off contract talks is similar to mentor Anthony Seibold’s situation, who has been linked to take over the Broncos top job from super coach Wayne Bennett at the end of 2019.
