Dugan was a three-year deal too, so would have seen him here through 2015. Imagine how different that year would have been...

tbf Barba seemed like a decent signing on the surface. Just turns out he was a woman beating drug addict with a busted ankle.

Barba also went on to be a key part of the sharks premiership too. Griffin just had no idea what to do with him

I don't entirely blame Barba for his 2014 form, he had a pretty bad ankle injury in the Auckland Nines and tried to play through it early in the season, was lacking match fitness & confidence. Was also playing Five-Eighth for a lot of the season, which was dumb af.

lol remember that time we signed Dugan? *shudder*

He was decent back then, he would have been better for us than Barba (although Barba was the bigger signing at the time)

PARRA CHASING FIFITA
The Parramatta Eels have earmarked boom Broncos forward David Fifita as part of their long term recruitment plans. The Eels will open talks with the giant second-rower on November 1. He is available from 2021.
The Eels are also close to securing Penrith prop Reagan Campbell Gillard for next year with the Panthers to chip in around 25 per cent of his salary.

Oh cool, how about we get him signed already! If we really are stuck with Macca and Boyd then glen has to go. There is no way in hell we get into a bidding war with other teams over him. Eels will have a lot of coin to throw at him.

Just need to get Macca, Boyd, Glenn and Gillette off the books.
