I wouldn't really say he's being shopped around... he's likely on a bottom dollar deal and wants to head back to Sydney.
No real benefit to Brisbane in losing him because we've gotta find another bottom dollar player to replace him.
It would be nice if we got a workhorse middle forward with some mobility... but I don't know who would be available.
We've basically gotta find a discard from some other team or does a guy like Bullemor or Niu get promoted to the top 30 squad??

That'd honestly be a win for some of them. We could get a better winger for 125,000 then oates, a better 5/8th for 250,000 then milf, and definitely a better centre then boyd for 20 bucks....

Brent Read has an article in the Australian today talking about Paul Whites replacement. He mentions Dave Donaghy from the Storm and Ben Ikin as contenders.

So basically you're relying on @broncsgoat to be appointed Head Coach or CEO of a rival club, because outside of that circumstance we're basically a snowball's hope of offloading any of those guys without funding most of the deal ourselves.

I wouldn't want to listen to 2 other blokes more then those two continue to criticize our every move more.
Ben has actually made some decent comments about the club this week, especially regarding our recruitment and retention, so maybe he'd go alright.
Couldn't be much worse tbh.

Ikin on nrl 360 a couple of weeks ago picked his origin team for this year. He had Oates at 2 and Ponga on the bench. FMD.
He does however keep the Broncos in the news and doesnt hold back. Not sure that he would be good as a CEO.
