Some of the reports from England are stating him as average even by their standards allowing for the fact he has made the English squad.
I cannot comment as i have never seen him play

Just a rumour on a twitter thread. Indirectly has Broncos loooking for a half and Myler in same thread.
Myler is an English half trying to get a contract in Australia. Still has a year to run in England but wants to break it and come out here. NRL has become fashionable over there. I guess because salary cap is increasing.

Exactly!! It would NOT be wise to just chop and change if there are NOT better alternatives available. We NEED to have a little more faith in not only Hook and his strategies/team selections, but also the guys who have been selected to do their job. Ok, so last night, and several times this year, things haven't gone to plan. BUT, the season is only half way through and there is still a STRONG possibility we can make some noise if we can get into the finals. I AM confident we WILL do that.

Not exactly big news, but Glen Buttriss re-signed with the Raiders on a 2 year deal, there was talk of McCrone to Hooker and Milford / Campese in the Halves, that probably isn't likely now.

(Might slightly increase the chances of us luring Milford/Cornish)

I'd be surprised if we couldn't get Cornish if we went hard enough for him. I don't think the club is keen on an untested half but I could be wrong. They want to sign a STAR playmaker by the sounds of it.

A theory I have is that if the Broncos publicly expressed their interest in these fringe players like Cornish or Tasi they'd get criticised.

Just like they got criticised for signing Stagg, Granville, Bond and Berryman.

I'd prefer they didn't express their interest in any players publicly . Just sign them and be done with it.
