Could explain why they are after Karmichael, there has been talk of the Broncos possibly releasing Hoffman if they were to sign Milford for 2014, though his stated his not going anywhere but still.

I cant comment on the rationale for the signings - but I understand that club staff were made aware of the Smith and Hunt signings today.

Milford at the Broncos in 2014 was described as "80% - 90% sure he will run out with us next year"

Milford is still in QLD at the moment

If that all turns out to be true, then we'd likely see:

1) Hunt
6) Barba
7) Milford
9) McCullough
14) Hunt

Sucks for BHunt to be on the bench again. Jumping ahead, would that mean in 2015, with Smith in the 9, McCullough would be bench hooker to learn from the best, and then take over once Smith retires? BHunt would surely be gone if that's the case.

Really funny point. Was dropping off a job at Movie World yesterday. There were a stack of guys in GC Suns attire, I don't know what any of the players look like but I assume they were the squad as they were being escorted around. When I stopped my car to let a few through (I had right of way) one guy next to my window said thanks. I said back 'you can thank me by asking Karmichael to come back home'. A few laughed. I have Broncos stickers all over my car.

Hi everyone - it's been a little while since my last post.... but I can promise you the news I just heard has been worth waiting for!!

BEFORE I GET TO IT - please note that this information is from the same source as my previous post about Kennedy coming & I will not be passing on any other identifying information about the source.

Ok - here we go....

The Broncos are set to make 2 very significant announcements with new signings:

1.) CAMERON SMITH
I am told that the deal is done - signed. He IS coming!

2.) Karmichael Hunt
The talks have been going on for a few months (since the story broke) but he has now agreed to terms to return to the club
next season.

But wait... there is more........... no no I will give you a minute to let that digest.....

Any idea when the announcements will be made?

I believe the wording was a "Canberra Utility" and then there just happened to be some rumour about McCrone potentially coming to Brisbane, so I guess technically the rumour was correct since we got Milford.

I'm just trying to figure out how we're going to fit all these players under the cap, and where we're going to play them on the field..

You'd have to assume that Hoffman leaves.
