If it's the rumour that's intertwined with the Round 13 deadline, then it's clearly not a player that's currently outside the NRL. Otherwise, why would the deadline have any relevance? It's to protect NRL clubs from losing their players early in negotiatons. If the players are currently outside the NRL I'm sure the code would love to get them signed up as early as possible.

He's easily a better attacking dummy half then mccullough but mccullough is easily a better defensive dummy half, I'd rather an attacking dummy half

Hunt strung the club along knowing full well he was going to AFL but didn't have the courtesy to be honest with the club and then without even giving the club a heads-up parades himself in front of the media embarrassing the code and Broncos in the process. He didn't give a **** about the fans or the club and his actions completely tarnished any legacy he could have hoped to have had at the Broncos imo.

That's not accurate. Broncos made an offer at the start of the year in January- Riolo and Hunt had till March and the Broncos withdrew the offer and moved on. He didn't sign with AFL till July.

Broncos knew in March he wasn't staying with them.
