Well to be pedantic, Ikin said he's confused, Kent agreed and said he's struggling (as in, with the decision) - whatever.

No he said his struggling, as in form, because of what is going on.

And no I'm not being pedantic because it makes a big difference in this case that it was kent that said he knows he is going to come to brisbane.

Kent knows **** all about most things except he is best mates with sticky. If he is putting his neck out saying he knows Milford is coming, it's because he knows from sticky

How would Kent know something if Milford won't be making a decision until next week (When the "Deadline" is), I wouldn't be reading into anything Kent says, despite his friendship with Stuart.

The deadline is for the million plus offer. For kent to be as sure as he was Ricky has probably told him that and that he thinks there is no chance of him staying, but they just want it confirmed so they can spend that money elsewhere

The NRL looks to be bringing in what they proposed - in paying marquee players from other codes to come to NRL (and pay them centrally from NRL) with the clubs then vying for them, with the amount on top to be cap-inclusive.

Karmichael is being pegged as one of the first to be targeted by the new tactic.

Another Paul Kent on NRL 360 comment. He says Milford is as confused as ever about going to the Broncs or staying at the Faders.
He says though that Milford is still likely to head north.

He reckons Milford has been given a deadline (?) of next week to make up his mind.

I hope that supposed deadline has been imposed by the Broncos ... Seriously, this kid seemed anything but "confused" about where he wanted to be a few months ago so if he's now getting cold feet, let him stay down there and get front bite an them for the rest of his career ... The broncos can't afford to be left in limbo over such a key position for the future of the football team.

anyone notice there are a heap of ads on radio in the last few weeks with hoffman advertising some workout powder or whatever it was.

reckon that was a third party deal made earlier this year to help him stay with the broncs?

Hodges was also doing those ads earlier this year.

Yep that proposal is a stinker, "at the CEOs discretion". Another great way for them to bypass the cap, in a year or two wait for SBW to return to Roosters and Surgess back to Rabbits outside the cap. Getting to the point they should just ditch the cap altogether, too many ways around it.

Sydney clubs can't afford to ditch the cap. Broncos would have the whole Australian team. Forget the Roosters, they aren't anywhere near as financially well off as the Broncos.

As a broncos fan, I'd love to see the cap ditched.

I agree completely. Allow each club to have one player that doesn't count towards the cap. Or tell them all to suck it up and play league because you want to, not because you're a mercenary.

Speaking of ads, has anyone else heard the one on tv with Corey Parker? He says "At home, nobody can hear you scream". Sounded kinda creepy.

Corey Parker is ads generally comes off as a psychopath. He also bangs on someone else's car and says he hates Melbourne players in one and repeatedly kicks a photocopier in frustration in another.

Don't forget the noodle box ads. Creepy.

I'm pretty sure he was "re-booting" the server in that one.

And it was Shane Webcke who hit the car and said he hates those Melbourne players.

Well... nothing really. It doesn't change anything, we are all still waiting til Rnd 13.

If we are releasing Hannant going after McKendry for the right price wouldn't be a bad idea.
