Hunt's going great but I don't think what he's doing would be any less effective with DCE alongside him. In fact, you could argue he'd thrive even more with teams having to pay less attention to him.

I wouldn't really hesitate to ship Barba and bring in DCE instead with Milf at #1. Don't see it happening though, and unlike last year, it's not the end of the world if it doesn't.
 
I don't want Boyd anywhere near our team.

Hoffman won't stay around to play wing. and if Boyd does come back, i expect Hoffman will ask for (and this time be given) a release to join the Bulldogs.

not sold on Gagai.

and I expect Reed to be named somewhere there ...

oh and we will continue to play the same one out football we always have (even in Bennetts first stint)

even when Barba gets his pay rise, DCE will cost us alot more and leave us short in other areas. we don't need him since Hunt has emerged as a quality half back ... DCE's misses wants to stay in Sydney, well i agree with her they can stay down there now.
 
Gagai can **** off. He can attack, but he couldn't even tackle a granny.

We absolutely need a proper halves partner for Hunt. The fact we don't have one this year is a big reason why we can't compete for the premiership. Milford may turn out to be that guy, but if he were at fullback with DCE it's just that much more ideal.

Don't buy that it will cost us much in the other areas either. We have too many backrowers as it is, if we shed a couple and Barba to make room for DCE I think that's a win for us. Storm have proved a quality spine is all you need. Manly showing it this year too.
 
Agreed, if you have to pay extra for a quality spine, you do it. You can build a team around one easily, Storm and Manly (this year) are proof. You can't do it around a poor one.

Barba with his pay rise still wouldn't be quite as expensive as DCE, but he's not anywhere near as good either.
Milford atm looks tailor made for fullback too.
 
Besides, Hunt's biggest strength by far is still his shortside attack. Having DCE will allow Hunt to concentrate on that more.
 
Just had a look at the Greenhouse and apparently we're signing players just so others can't have them.

I was told the same thing by Raiders fan at Roma after the game.

They insisted that I march to Red Hill and demand the Broncos give back Milford.

Yeah, we signed Tedesco, Ennis, etc... so they couldn't go to the Faders.
