Broncos Player Movements and Rumours 2014

We might have been premiership contenders in about 10 years time...maybe.
 
Right now we are 4th on the ladder after a gutsy win against one of the comps form teams, that is 8 spots above Mr Bennetts Knights who couldn't even get inspired enough for a win over the weekend.

I'm not convinced the easy option is going to be the best, watch us lose McGuire and Hunt now so that we can have room for Boyd/Mason

We are in 6th, not 4th.

I love how we are automatically going to ditch some of our squad for Newcastle replacements.

Why the **** would we lose Hunt for Boyd when Hunt is still contracted for next year??

6th due to P/D and keep in mind rumour had it awhile back that alot of the U20 players who played under Hook had clauses in their contracts regarding him as head coach.

nope.

We are 6th. 5th is roosters 2 points ahead of us. Points differential is the only thing keeping us out of 9th

Sorry you're correct, I was looking at it wrong... however that still has Bennetts Knights 8 points below us and over the past 3 season Griffin has got better results than Bennett. Which brings to question if Bennett still 'has it' or if you lot are just so excited to get rid of Griffin that anyone will cause an erection.
 
Boyd isn't coming, Karmichael Hunt is signing with the Reds. DCE isn't coming.

Lol, you start on here ranting about **** KHunt and Gagai, how we are 4th on the ladder and that we are going to lose B Hunt as well as all these other Griffin's under 20 players that have get out clauses and you have a go at others being excited.

Yes well played indeed, I said my piece and expressed my thoughts, then I questioned everyone elses. Oh how silly of me to do that on a forum..


Did I say you're all dickheads for being excited? nope not at all. I questioned the excitement and it's now up to you to respond to that or ignore that. You can also call a friend for help if that will assist you at all.
 
A lot of fans are caught in a honeymoon phase.

I suspect Bennett may recruit a Newcastle player or two here either in 2015 or 16. Hopefully they're good.

Based on the run home, I doubt we'll make the 8 this year.

Last year we didn't make the 8.

In 2012 we finished 8th.

So, over the past 3 years, our best result will have been 8th. And you think that we are heading in the right direction? You're kidding right?

Last year the Knights went within a game of the GF. This year they have had to contend with:

1. a mate ending up in a wheelchair;

2. not being paid; and

3. huge off-field ructions.....

we've had to contend with....absolutely nothing.

The board is doing something to address these failures.

Thanks for being the 3rd person to remind me I put the wrong ladder position in.

I'd also like to know where I said we are heading in the right direction? I've said numerous times Griffin had to look elsewhere, it's his replacement that I question and I wonder if running back to your Ex-Gf because the dating scene was tough is the right option. I don't think it is and I question if Bennett actually still has it or not. I was fine for him to come back to Brisbane just not as the head coach, a Gus Gould style role would have been awesome and would have pushed the club into the future long term. Bennett as head coach doesn't, it just possibly creates a temp solution to a coaching problem.
 
Bennett was always going to be temporary. He's coming on a 3 year deal with Bennett grooming the new coach in that time, ready for him/her to take over when Bennett's 3 years are up. Seems like a solid plan to me.

@Big Pete , who do you think we might get from Newcastle? Boyd? Gagai? Interested to hear your thoughts on these guys...
