Beale: leaves to play fullback - the sign Dugan - Beale plays centre

Hoffman: leaves to play fullback - gets moved to centre - Beale shifts to wing.

Would piss myself

beale is their fullback now and dugan has been playing centre for two months or so.

yeah, so if hoffman signed he'd go fb. dugan obviously playing in the centres if he isnt moving back to fb even when quinlan is dropped.

Stop blowing holes in our fun Buzz Killington.

Would laugh harder if they shifted Hoffman to the wing tbh.

So you move Dugan to the centres, then sign Hoffman. They are pretty much the same player.

Shame but not likely to get a look in next year.

Fair enough. Would have been a fair way down the pecking list if he'd stayed.

THE Central Highlands just cannot seem to stop producing top-class rugby league talent.

Former Emerald Brothers junior Liam Pickersgill will join the Brisbane Broncos Holden Cup squad in 2015.
"It's a big opportunity for me," Pickersgill said.
"I'm pretty excited about it."
Pickersgill is keeping the boyhood dream in the back of his mind, but still taking things a step at a time.
"Hopefully I can play NRL," he said.
"I'm just more focused on finishing this year.
"Hopefully I can have a good year next year."
The 18-year-old will play out this year with the Central Queensland Capras, and said the pre-season training had given him a taste for the higher levels.
"It took a bit to get used to the professionalism," he said.
"It's definitely good, how physical it is.
"It was a pretty good learning curve for me."
Pickersgill played most of his junior rugby league at fullback, but switched to second row in his mid-teens.
"It's helped my game out a bit," he said.
"I didn't make a representative team until I was about 15."
Capras coach Jason Hetherington said it was great to see central Queensland players progressing to higher levels, even if it meant a loss for his side.
"That says a lot for our program," Hetherington said.
"It's a little frustrating, but it's not disappointing - that's what we're here to do."
Hetherington said Pickersgill had what was required to make the most of his chance.
"He's certainly a talented young fellow," he said.
"He deserves the opportunity.
"I'm sure he'll put his best foot forward and make the most of it."
He said Pickersgill would thrive in the professional environment at the Broncos.
"That's a real top-shelf system," he said.
"That'll be good for his progress.
"It'll really benefit his football."
Liam Pickersgill
18 years old, second rower
Played for:
Emerald Brothers
Rockhampton Grammar
Central Queensland Capras under-18s
Central Queensland Capras seniors
Brisbane Broncos under-20s (from 2015)

Looks like a decent prospect

Also appears we are close to signing ipswich jet's winger Carlin Anderson, haven't seen much of him so not sure what to make of it.

Anderson is a multi-code star who played representative cricket, union, hockey, soccer and league while attending Ipswich Grammar School.
He has been a revelation for the Jets on the wing this year, slimming down to become one of the fastest players in the competition.‏

“He’s a natural athlete. He’s one of these kids who can just do anything,” Ben Walker said.

“The Broncos are interested and I really think he has NRL potential if he gets in the right system with coaches who let him do his thing.‏

“We give him a roving commission and he comes in looking for the ball because he’s not a traditional winger.

“He’s a terrific kid with a great attitude.”

He is a prospect pretty quick and strong.

Very astute signing if we get him. Even more astute if we bring his coaches with him.

Wayne Bennett said in knights insider that Travis Waddell is following him to the broncs

Haven't seen a lot of him. Seems to be a replacement for Granville. Wouldn't be on a lot. Andy Raymond said someone signed a below average player and a really below average bloke too! What has he done?
