Wayne Bennett said in knights insider that Travis Waddell is following him to the broncs

I don't rate him that highly... IMO, we would be better off giving the bench spots to one of our kids, to ease them into first grade. (like Taylor)

There's a good chance he won't even be playing for the Broncos. He will probably be following him back to Brisbane or Queensland (where he apparently grew up) and playing for a Q Cup team. I doubt he will be in our top 25 next year, unless we lose a few more players.

Titans favourites to sign Hannant unfortunately. Broncos have offered him a 3 year deal, but it's back-ended, so the first year is just over $100k. That'd be hard to cop, I wouldn't be surprised if he walks. He might not be worth the money he was getting when playing Origin, but that's peanuts.

yeah well maybe we needed some money to sign Packer ... so we took it from Hannant

Yeah this is more than likely the case.

McGuire would get an upgraded contract, but hopefully we don't get Boyd.
