If Griffin gets the Tigers gig would any players follow him?
McGuire would by the sounds of it.

McGuire won't follow he said he wants to play under Bennett.
I know he wasn't anything special but I find that a shame, he has been strong in Q cup and just as good at hooker or in the halves and with Granville gone thought he could be useful. Why would he go to Cowboys they have plenty of both
Maybe Bennett told him he wasn't wanted here ?
True, just saying it's a sideways move for himself that's all
Cameron Cullen to the Cowboys.
Yeah agreed ..... always a shame to lose a talented youngster.
It's hard to see where he'll fit into the Cowboys lineup isn't it ?
How many hooker/halves do they need up there?
That's a shame, can't keep them all though.
Ashley Taylor
Kodi Nikorima
Jayden Nikorima
Duncan Paia'aua
Probably all ahead of him in the pecking order for a first grade call-up (Even though Duncan is supposedly headed to Union)
The sameas the number of fullbacks we want.

North Queensland light the fuse for Queensland finals derby, targeting Brisbane prop Josh McGuire
THE Cowboys have set the scene for an explosive Queensland sudden-death derby on Saturday night by setting their recruiting sights on the Broncos’ top prop Josh McGuire.
The Courier-Mail can reveal the Cowboys are chasing McGuire as coach Paul Green looks to assemble the most powerful front-row rotation in the NRL.
Two Sydney clubs have already expressed interest in McGuire, but the Broncos will be most concerned by the fresh poaching threat coming from their Queensland rivals.
Cowboys officials were tight-lipped going into the finals blockbuster in Townsville, but McGuire’s manager Simon Mammino has held informal dialogue with North Queensland.
Mammino ramped up talks with the Broncos on Thursday, who hope their $1 million extension will convince McGuire to remain at Red Hill.
The Cowboys have yet to make a formal offer as the club assesses its salary cap position, with the retention of hulking backrower Jason Taumalolo a priority task.
The impending departure of Tariq and Ashton Sims has the Cowboys on the hunt for a marquee forward and hard-running McGuire fits the bill.
Green is known to be a fan of McGuire and would relish the prospect of the Maroons Origin prop joining Test front-rowers Matt Scott and James Tamou in Townsville.
McGuire, who is off contract next season, plans to test his value on the open market and his price tag will soar if he inspires a Broncos boilover on Saturday night.
“It’s really nice to be wanted,” said McGuire, who recently celebrated the birth of his first child.
“This is a big decision. I grew up in Brisbane and I’ve now got a fiancee and a young family.
“As a kid, I dreamt of playing with the Broncos so naturally it would be hard to leave this club.
“I will let the contract stuff take care of itself. There’s a few clubs interested but I’m happy here and focused on the finals so hopefully it will sort itself out down the track.’’
One trump card for the Broncos, aside from McGuire’s family ties, is money. Brisbane’s offer stands to make McGuire the highest-paid prop in the club’s history and the Cowboys would not be in a position to break the bank in any bidding war.
North Queensland want to have Scott, Tamou and McGuire on their books in 2016, but they will not go hard for the Broncos prop if they are at risk of losing Taumalolo.
For now, McGuire is determined to end the Cowboys’ season after Scott and Tamou monstered the Brisbane pack in their 27-14 win in Round 9.
“In my opinion the Cowboys have the best ruck rotation with their combination of speed and size,” McGuire said.
“We’ve had some great Queensland derbys in the last few years and this will be no different.
“Scott and Tamou are the Test front-rowers so this is a good test for me. What happened during the season is behind us but they did start well last time and we have to be ready for them.”

Sounds like he wants to stay so hopefully our offer is substantial enough.
