Broncos player retention

I can understand Ennis going there, but I really don't know why Hannant would want to. I don't see what (apart from money obviously) the club would have to offer a young front rower like him. I know they'll have Kimmorley next year, but really, Hannant has his entire career ahead of him, I would have thought he would want to stay at or go to a club that has a lot of potential and I just don't see the bulldogs having that any time soon.

Theres no loyalty in players anymore, although i guess with these 2 that was obvious since they left other clubs to come to us lol

So goodbye Hannant,Ennis,Stagg

Pj the starting Hooker Next Year..

Could Boyd Be A Bench utility? Meaning Kemp and Michaels get to play outside Izzy and Hodgo

Hannant won't be going anywhere.. He is the main reason why Bruno is telling Ennis we can't offer him a good deal. There is no chance of Boyd being our bench utility, he will be one of our wingers and a good one at that. Has Michaels even signed a contract for next season??? Kemp might leave if given a good offer same with Robinson

i hope we dont lose Kemp start of the season i was fine with him going back now i wanna see him play every week

As has been been posted so many times before, "club loyalty" is a rare commodity these days.

Players in a professional sport usually go where the money is.

In the case of these players - I again say: what is the REALITY NOW in relation to the Broncos cheque book and roster decision making?

Who knows what the hell is going down?

I am getting tired of all this useless, meaningless speculation. Derrr .... [icon_thumbs_do

This weeks Rugby League Week seems to think Joel Moon could be headed to the Roosters.

No surprise I guess seeing as the Roosters just have endless amounts of money and regularly get the good players on the market [eusa_naugh

If your going to go Joel go to a club that needs you!! Put simply the roosters dont.

what so he can be used the same way he is at the Broncos. he won't edge out Anasta for a 5/8th spot

Come on Rock. Haha. Mini, Perrett, Soliola, Roberts and SKD are all ahead of him. Then throw in Grose, Aubusson and Sa. I dont see him getting too much of a run there either.

Exactly the point I was trying to make Clintos! [eusa_clap.gi

I love Joel Moon, hope he stays and waits untill Locky leaves then gets his go at 5/8 and hopefully he plays well and gets that position because i dont see him playing centre for broncos next year theres Hodgo,Izza and even Michaels is fighting to keep his spot in centres. Moon can play lock i have heard though. Possible replacement for Carrol maybe?
If Moon was to leave i think he would go best at Storm as they are looking for a star centre ATM and since storm use there backs alot and the hole lot of them are stars i think Joel Moon could become realy good there.

When Locky leaves i can see Hunt at half and Wallace at 5/8.

And stagg should be the next lock, we already have enough 2nd rowers.

I think it would more likely be Hunt at 5/8 with Wallace remaining at halfback. i don't think Hunt has the organisational game to be halfback.

Hunt touches the ball 90% of the time in the under 20's. I'd rather see wallace take locky's spot where he can pick and choose where to chime in.
