As far as the second Brisbane team is concerned ... we're actually in a pretty good position, should the team gain entry in 2023

here is the list of off contract players from Fox sports (the red are the errors)

BRONCOS - off contract 2022
Patrick Carrigan, Herbie Farnworth, Corey Oates, Jamayne Isaako, Jake Turpin, Albert Kelly, Rhys Kennedy, David Mead, Cory Paix (extended until end of 2023), Keenan Palasia, Brodie Croft, Ethan Bullemor, Ryan James

so the only one we need to really worry about losing would be Carrigan and Farnworth (Oates if he keeps up his form from back end of this season)

Out of those names Mead and possibly Kelly would be retiring and I think Carrigan, Herbie and Oates are 3 that I see would stay loyal to the broncos.

Might not be the right thread for this but I’m getting the general consensus is that everyone wants Redcliffe to be the new team? Is that right or would other people prefer the firehawks or the jets

I’m an old Easts boy (supporter not player) so would like to see the fire hawks get up but like most think Redcliffe will get the nod.

I think this is a mistake.

For mine their focus should be increasing the seating capacity at Redcliffe and playing their games there. This area is a Rugby League mad area. If there are NRL games being played here, they will get the numbers.

Are the NRL hoping to fill out suncorp every week? It’s a big ask for the Brisbane community
