I can see is point of view but then I look at the facts and reject his point of view. The Broncos stuffed up in bringing him in the first place (one of many, many, many bad decisions by the powers that be) but they stood by him through all the injuries by paying him his full wage and then compound the financial burden of it all by paying him to get his wish to leave. Show a bit of class mate and leave gracefully while you continue to receive your up to $500k this year from Brisbane.

On that, I wonder if we're eligible to get some cap dispensation for a couple of long term injuries to him?

Thinking about it, does remind me of the comment that Bird might be a prototypical entitled Gen Y, thought I might have read that somewhere. Easy to lose sight of that in a team that was chocka with entitled types but it does look like he might have an all about me issue going on.

Apparently the Titans are already in talks with B Smith and the Storm. Melbourne want Tino back as compensation.

Well they would have to give them Tino to get B Smith under the cap surely or I would be getting rather suspicious they are up to some funky business.

With TIno, Fifita, Eseese and add B Smith to that you would be thinking they would be spending $3.25M to $3.5M of the cap on just those players, then they've got another $1Mil in Taylor and a decent upgrade for Brimson, things are getting pretty tight for the other 24 players even when Taylor takes a pay cut.

This is just so wrong. Turpin walks into the starting 9 unchallenged at NQ, Titans, Warriors, Knights, Dogs, Eagles, Tigers and Sharks. He would also challenge at Drags and Eels.

If you watch Turpin play and think he only has heart and energy...says more about you than Turpin.
So apart from his lack of a running, organising and kicking game, where do you see his strengths, lie?

Sounds like The Most Influential Person In Rugby League is retiring then.

Anyone not hyping Turpin as the greatest hooker ever is obviously forgetting that one thing he did that time and the fact he’s not McCullough.
But Macca threw that perfect cutout earlier this year for a Bronco's try, how short are the memories around here?
