Another hooker I like the look of is Manley's reserve Cade Cust. No idea on spelling or contract situation, but just has good attacking flair and seems perfect a cheap bench hooker

If Staggs has been promised the 6 jumper. That basically is Milf out the door. In the mean time the others are aware and it creates a shitfight for the rest of the season with 3 players playing for one Jersey.
Realistically Milf wont be able to game manage at NRL level, so we are down to Dearden or Croft. The most experienced one got put on the bench last wek. This seriously hurts my head. Neither of them are good enough to game manage a team currently. Dearden is a good 2 years off doing that.

Interesting thought actually. It seems like something Bennett would do based on the KNik/Milf pairing - swap A.Reynolds for Milford. I cannot see a pairing of Milford-Walker working.

While I don't think Turner is a good fit for the club, Brisbane should have two spots left in their NRL squad. Unless they've gone and signed Issac Luke, they only unveiled 28 players at the season launch.

Instead of Reynolds, why dont we take Walker and Gagia off the book of Souffs. Double deal, both wont get a contract past next years with them.

He's a running halfback in the mould of a Milford/Nikorima. Good on his feet and can play eyes up football but still very raw and limited. In another system that's settled he'd be a handy player to bring in as a blue chip prospect but for a team like the Broncos he's just too erratic.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet, if Deardon decides to go all brokeback mountain and join the Cowboys then Milf might not be out the door, he could easily still slot into 7 with Staggs at 6. It could all depend on how much of a reduced contract he wants to take to stay in Brisbane.
