We are becoming an easy target now for other clubs to target in getting us to release players and subsidise their contracts. Thats Moose, Joffa, Bird, Lodge possibly. We have become a soft touch and it needs to stop even if we have to keep some of these blokes around. We are fast becoming a joke.

I know that footballers aren’t known for their smarts but their are no back row positions opening up at the storm or roosters anytime soon... so if he really wanted to play a high level of footy than he probably shouldn’t go there... also if the lodge move is true that’s 700k to open up as well as 500k from offa and at least 600k from bird which means we can resign all 3 of staggs, Dearden and Piakura with plenty to spare

Piakura only needs a good preseason to be in calculations to debut sometime this year. We will have the money to hold onto him surely they couldn’t screw this up

I think a good pre-season could get him on the emergency... cause you’d think now our bench will be Bullemor, Kennedy and Riki which I don’t mind because we have always had to much money invested in our bench

Thats not great, its a weak bench. The only forward we may recruit is probably Asiata. It still leaves us in a poor position. If Kevvie is going to back his coaching ability, he should be aiming to get Lodge fit and firing, unlike this year, and Joffa back to his best. That would leave us in a better position than paying other clubs to take our players.
