Seems nobody at the Broncos know how to fix this so they’re just going to burn it to the ground to start again.
Getting rid of players is fine if it serves a purpose - freeing up cash, a roster spot or allowing the addition of a superior player.

Dumping players just for the sake of it just to replace them with whatever scraps are available is stupidity and won’t fix anything.
Will dumping TPJ for Su’A make us a better team? I doubt it. Can anyone here really try to justify that a plodder like Pereira is more of an asset than Isaako?

People here love to hate and blame our players for bad performances and act like every other off contract player are far superior white knight saviours, but it doesn’t make it the case. Chopping a bunch of players who will easily find homes at other clubs in order to sign a bunch of rejects / bottom of the barrel of free agency is not going to lead to improvement.

What makes it even more unbelievable is that we’re cutting a bunch of players with real talent - a lot of them have problems with consistency or discipline or attention or what have you - but that’s part of coaching, to turn these rough diamonds into polished gems - not ship them off to rival clubs (where I’m sure we’ll have to pay freight for some if not all) just to replace them with lumps of coal. Not all change is good - this is just churn for the sake of it.

TPJ is an out and out match winner and talented footy player. If we’re too lazy, stupid and useless to turn him into a consistent force then that’s our loss and another team will benefit from our shortcomings.

Cause you like to many other people want superstar 1-17…. **** OFF like seriously your as stupid as the ***** that got us in this mess… Spines and outside backs win games not fucking forward packs and that’s where all our money is tied up… you need disciplined and competent forwards not overpaid inconsistent talent forwards that are less competent and reliable as those for less money. We put the same shit out there next year and nothing is going to happen. NOTHING. I don’t care how good Reynolds is. We got fat lazy sooks who put in effort when it’s convenient. There the ones on money and don’t want to compete, win games for us and put games to bed. That’s there fucken jobs. If they can’t then why should they be here. We’ve won 6 games in almost 2 seasons at the end of this weekend there’ll be bottom 8 sides who have won more this season. I want competent players and you want stars. Im taking the competent players who can win a few more games than the idiots currently here.

I hope you've got a comfy chair mate. We DID have that sort of culture, well established for a damn long time. Now we're looking like equaling that same period of time with an era at the other end of the spectrum.

The players have checked out, the administration couldn't care less and Walters is out of ideas and panicking. It may as well be a mirror image of last year and Seibold was flicked because of it. I think the fact that he is a club legend is just about the only thing protecting Kev's job at this point, because the board are scared shitless of the consequences of sacking their 2nd coach in 2 years.

If Kev actually gave a shit about the club's legacy, his own legacy and the survival of both, he should resign tomorrow, get on Fox League and just air out the dirty laundry. All of it, from top to bottom, NDA's be fucked. It's about time some names were put to this catastrophe, because maybe then some accountability might dare to sneak back into the place.

Kev got the job so he could fail, the old boys would shut up and then we could get a real coach.

I looked at Melbourne’s side the other week and apart from Bromwich (x2) Nelson & Welch I didn’t know any of the other forwards, but I sure knew who the spine players were and the outside backs.

Thanks Mitchy Benaud but aren’t we subsidising enough other teams. Who is out there to buy apart from Billy Walters? I am beginning to think our leader has run out of ideas. They would be stupid to get rid of Lodge but happy for uncle toby to go and khunt to return to park football. Pick Kennedy for starters and try Tass in the centres. Our team doctor has to delay Glenn’s return to the paddock at all cost. We tried hard tonight but the officials beat us again and we had no bench to call on. Time to call Matty Elliot and Neil Henry. Kevvie can do a juggling act at half time with Alfie.

I’m not having a go at you specifically there’s tons of people on here with the same opinion and I will genuinely leave you and your opinion alone if you can honestly answer this
Do you think we have a good side? How many players would you actually keep? What positions are most important for success and Why are these players being told to leave specifically?

you’re putting words in my mouth. Yes, I want change, but this is not the way to go.
You’re aware that we have to field a team next year, right?
It’s all well and good to cheer clearing out the underperforming players who have brought us 2 wooden spoons but we do actually have to replace them with something.
I never said they all have to stay, I’m saying I don’t see what these moves solve. Yes, spine players are by far the most important. Is dumping TPJ immediately going to increase our chances of snagging a spine player? No. Does showing Isaako the door allow us to replace him with a better option? I don’t see who. Next year we have to fill these roster spots with the dregs and leftovers and off casts from other teams who are likely even more useless and disinterested in being here than the players we are marching now.

if these moves directly lead to a better roster and an improved team through follow up signings and roster management then I’ll be all for it, but right now all this change for the sake of change doesn’t look to me like we’re improving as a team, it looks like we’re creating more holes that need filling rather than focusing on improving what we have.
