This probably needs a tino thread
Yeah, they can **** right off with that idea. We are already paying for several of their players and other clubs are interested in TPJ.According to Read, the Dragons could be interested in TPJ but only if we pay some freight.

Dragons trying to operate with a $12m salary cap, but they still won't end up making the 8That’s the Dragons MO, buy a subsidised Bronco at every chance.

Both former Broncos.not just Broncos ... they also apparently have a subsidised Cowboy (McGuire) and a subsidised Eel (Alvaro)
I completly agree but I also think Walter's is just thinking about getting the ball in our best attacking weapons hands more. There is much more to a 5/8th I know but we have a lot of problems to fix and this may mean we are able to fix one to an alright level without needing to buy another player for it.For all people going on about Staggs ball running, he has only ever shown his abilities as an edge runner.
Good coaching could have Staggs at 5/8th while creating set plays that get the ball in his hands on an edge at times, utilising ball playing forwards and/or the fullback. For all people going on about Staggs ball running, he has only ever shown his abilities as an edge runner.
It's an interesting point that I hadn't thought of before.Dragons trying to operate with a $12m salary cap, but they still won't end up making the 8

I think he was average as for Tonga rbh and the amount of pressure it put on Lolohea was obvious. Lolohea was amazing that game behind a great and firing forward pack. Staggs was a non-contributor mostly.I dont see him succeeding there at all. People hold onto this game he played for Tonga as an example of why he could succeed but i dont see it. I dont see him having anything i'd want from a half tbh. I reckon he will come in and do well at the start because he offers something different and he is competitive, and people will get carried away with it ( a bit like Gamble ) but the more he plays there the more his deficiencies will show. His strength is his power and pace running on an edge. I've said it before, but he isnt going to get that kind of room as regularly at 6, and he is going to have a lot more traffic running at him and a lot more defence at 6 to contend with. Its going to dull his game unless we are dominating games. He is going to have to change his game a lot to be a success.
I think one of the bigger issues with playing Staggs at 6 is that he is a predominantly right sided player and a lot of his weapons are suited to the right side. However, Reynolds has been a right side half his whole career.I dont see him succeeding there at all. I think the Tonga game gets brought up, but Staggs at 6 supporters probably think of Rd 2 last year vs the rabbits when Croft went off early and Staggs played at 6 for the 2nd half... it may even be a thought process from Kevvie to get him into 6 and give him the ball to create opportunities with the try he scored under the posts providing a good example of what he can bring in some broken playI dont see him succeeding there at all. Hi, I’m Peter ‘so much’ V’landys. There is so much wrong with our great game, so many big issues to fix, and the clowns in charge have no idea what to do.
