I'm still thinking it is coming together nicely for next year, really need a better 9 though to do anything more than be competitive. Capewell, Reynolds and Lee already solve a lot of problems.
 
Apparently the eels are looking to bring Milford into their side before cut off in August this year.. anybody who we would want to grab for a player swap?

Yeah but I think we can cover fullback in the short term. I know Niu has flaws and some of those non-efforts were disgraceful but just need to him to hold long enough until either Cobbo is ready or we get Hammer. The 9 is more problematic but we just someone good to allow Dossier to develop with a year in ISC, maybe Paix is that stop gap, he has certainly looked good in ISC this year.

Yeah right.. we’ll hand them Milford plus two or three of our best young talents.. we’ll also offer to pay their players’ mortgages, parking fines and do their homework three nights a week

I think if we can get a decent 9 that plays long minutes Nui could be a decent utility option off the bench. Hes not our long term 1. Put cobbo in 1 now give him a shot this year so we know if we're going to need to chase a fullback or not. The Hammer would be great but don't see him leaving his family up north.

I like the idea of getting Cobbo in there now in theory but not in practice. This team is absolute rubbish and getting him in at fullback with this bunch of spuds won't do much good for him mentally. Shield him in ISC or out on the wing but not fullback, not yet.

I'd like to see him in the top squad to get him more experience but Oates holds his spot and Coates will come back in for Issako no doubt.. but if he leaves the bubble and plays ISC he's got to quarantine to come back in i think.
 
They should be able to play cup this week or next, depending on Rona. NSW club's are trying to get an allowance to have 3 players join Q Cup teams to stay match fit.
