He's not good and he'd be a waste of salary cap.
We just re-signed Gamble, who is just as good ( I think better )
We're probably signing Billy Walters too by the sounds of it

Could do that. Could even swap Tesi and Cobbo. I can imagine Tesi doing alright on the wing and could be similar to Holmes there.Swap cobbo and Farnsworth
Cobbo has the raw potential to be a superstar at fullback, it's just a matter of whether he'd be ready for that just yet. Probably is better to work him into the NRL from centre/wing for a couple years like Latrell was.

If you genuinely think Gamble & Walters are better players than Brooks, then I'm afraid there's really no hope left for you. They're journeymen. They do an adequate job when called upon, they're solid 2nd or ideally 3rd string NRL halves. If you take off the rose-tinted glasses and look at the facts, it's not even a debate. We would unequivocally be a better team with Brooks alongside Reynolds than either of those two.
If he truly is on the outer as the Tigers, and we could acquire his services on a short-term deal for a reasonable price (sub-$500K p/a), then we'd be completely stupid not to enquire.

I don't hate it but it would have to be a real risk free deal much like you have said. I could get behind a 2 year life line subsidised by the Tigers. I think he would pair well with Reynolds tbh.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. We've made a living off paying contracts for other clubs, how about we finally get someone else to do the same for us? It's worth the risk if DD & Ikin can make it happen.

Yep , I think cobbo and Staggs could be a great center pairing and Farnworth is a a winger. Niu could be a bust but he's still young so am happy to wait and see, unless we sign a gun fullback but I doubt we will.

Of course my opinion isn't more valid than anyone else's on here, it's just more valid than yours.
Tigers don't want Brooks because Doueihi has been incredible this season, and as I said earlier, Brooks is NOT a game manager, which is what Doueihi needs next to him. They've got Hastings coming next year who will fill that role. I don't expect you to watch every game, every week like me, but you can't call my suggestions 'disgusting' when you've shown a propensity to suggest players based of nothing but a 60 seconds highlights package on YouTube. If you dislike my suggestion, that's fine, you are more than welcome, but at least put in some effort when trying to explain why you dislike it.

Brooks is crap and therefore the suggestion to recruit him is crap, just in my opinion.
I actually post the youtube vids on here to help people who may not have seen a player that I am referring to.

Brooks is rubbish, he had a 3 on 1 out the back to Douhei yesterday at one point and couldn't let go of the ball, dummied it and went the other way. it was so awkward to watch. Anybody who wants him here needs to be flung into the sun. Is he as bad as Croft? No. Is he the answer? No. He's not a Ben Hunt scapegoat with broken confidence, he actually does suck.

Was good enough to win Dally M halfback of the year & finish 3rd in the Dally M voting in 2018, but now he just sucks and there's no point in even considering him at a cut-price, on a short-term deal.

If it were up to you lot we'd be cycling through journeymen at five-eighth until the next Raiders Anthony Milford becomes available, spoiler, that opportunity may never arise again.
We have to try a short-term solution at some point.
Id pass, it would pretty much be a wasted spot on the roster like croft.
If we didnt already have alot of similar players (similar in the positions they can play) you'd consider it
His stats might look good compared to others but I don't think the way he plays will work with the players we've got already.
If staggs doesn't play 6 and plays centre we need a 6 to feed him early ball not be run first player and if we have a runner at 6 we need a fullback that can ball play and we don't have that.

You deserve to be degraded, you post some of the most ill-informed suggestions out of anyone I've ever seen on this forum, yet you have the audacity to shit on other people's ideas? You should really take a step back and reflect.
Your opinion is that Brooks is crap, your counter proposal is that guys like Walters & Kelly are better options..? Like.. come on, you aren't even trying to come across like you know what you're talking about.
You post the YouTube videos because they are how you form opinions on the players you suggest. I can almost guarantee you've never watched at least half of the players you suggest we sign. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
