Great rebuttal, really sums up your contributions on here.

Swap cobbo and FarnsworthI think the most sensible thing to do could be to play Kelly at 6 and get him to replicate Cody Walker's role. It could be the safest option if we want to win games from the start of the season next year. Does anyone have any issues with this backline? Gamble can start off being 14 and push for the 6 during the season. Maybe he fills in elsewhere in the backline if there's an injury. I can picture him playing well in the centres. Tesi Niu at fullback is still debatable at this point. I'd be open to the Broncos recruiting a fullback if it were the right fit.
1. Tesi Niu
2. Corey Oates
3. Herbie Farnworth
4. Kotoni Staggs
5. Selwyn Cobbo
6. Albert Kelly
7. Adam Reynolds
Could do that. Could even swap Tesi and Cobbo. I can imagine Tesi doing alright on the wing and could be similar to Holmes there.Swap cobbo and Farnsworth

We just re-signed Gamble, who is just as good ( I think better )
We're probably signing Billy Walters too by the sounds of it
Your opinion doesn't deserve much thought sadly.
I don't hate it but it would have to be a real risk free deal much like you have said. I could get behind a 2 year life line subsidised by the Tigers. I think he would pair well with Reynolds tbh.Apparently the Tigers are shopping Brooks around.
Now.. I know this probably won't be a popular opinion, but I still think he has something to offer. He's a left side specialist, which compliments Reynolds well. Regardless of his form, he's still a good runner of the ball, and isn't afraid to pin the ears back and take on the line. That's precisely what we need alongside Reynolds. His kicking game hasn't progressed as hoped, but it's still middle of the field, certainly better than the likes of Staggs, Gamble, Kelly, etc..
94 running metres per game - 3rd among NRL halves (Behind Cleary & B.Hunt)
98 line engagements - 3rd among NRL halves (Behind B.Hunt & C.Walker)
31 tackle busts - More than Gamble, Croft, Kelly, Dearden & K.Hunt combined for the Broncos this season
18 offloads - 5th among NRL halves (Behind B.Hunt, Cherry-Evans, Munster & Luai)
12 try assists - 10th among NRL halves
Depending on the asking price, of course, I wouldn't hesitate to offer him a 2 year lifeline.

Yeah, just like we were so much better with Bird in the side. Jog on mate. Your opinion is no more valid than anyone else's here. Don't act like it is. Brooks is a glorified second grader and that's why Tigers don't want him IN MY OPINION.If you genuinely think Gamble & Walters are better players than Brooks, then I'm afraid there's really no hope left for you. They're journeymen. They do an adequate job when called upon, they're solid 2nd or ideally 3rd string NRL halves. If you take off the rose-tinted glasses and look at the facts, it's not even a debate. We would unequivocally be a better team with Brooks alongside Reynolds than either of those two.
If he truly is on the outer as the Tigers, and we could acquire his services on a short-term deal for a reasonable price (sub-$500K p/a), then we'd be completely stupid not to enquire.
He’s fucking atrocious and needs to go.Can we make up some excuse so he can retire effective immediately?
Yep , I think cobbo and Staggs could be a great center pairing and Farnworth is a a winger. Niu could be a bust but he's still young so am happy to wait and see, unless we sign a gun fullback but I doubt we will.Could do that. Could even swap Tesi and Cobbo. I can imagine Tesi doing alright on the wing and could be similar to Holmes there.
Cobbo has the raw potential to be a superstar at fullback, it's just a matter of whether he'd be ready for that just yet. Probably is better to work him into the NRL from centre/wing for a couple years like Latrell was.

Would be great for that to actually work for us for once.Yeah, that's what I'm saying. We've made a living off paying contracts for other clubs, how about we finally get someone else to do the same for us? It's worth the risk if DD & Ikin can make it happen.
Yeah, but see how you can't even speak without trying to degrade me? You're a sad old fella and it shows some real insecurities.Of course my opinion isn't more valid than anyone else's on here, it's just more valid than yours.
Tigers don't want Brooks because Doueihi has been incredible this season, and as I said earlier, Brooks is NOT a game manager, which is what Doueihi needs next to him. They've got Hastings coming next year who will fill that role. I don't expect you to watch every game, every week like me, but you can't call my suggestions 'disgusting' when you've shown a propensity to suggest players based of nothing but a 60 seconds highlights package on YouTube. If you dislike my suggestion, that's fine, you are more than welcome, but at least put in some effort when trying to explain why you dislike it.
Brooks is rubbish, he had a 3 on 1 out the back to Douhei yesterday at one point and couldn't let go of the ball, dummied it and went the other way. it was so awkward to watch. Anybody who wants him here needs to be flung into the sun. Is he as bad as Croft? No. Is he the answer? No. He's not a Ben Hunt scapegoat with broken confidence, he actually does suck.
Id pass, it would pretty much be a wasted spot on the roster like croft.Apparently the Tigers are shopping Brooks around.

Brooks is crap and therefore the suggestion to recruit him is crap, just in my opinion.
I actually post the youtube vids on here to help people who may not have seen a player that I am referring to.
