Apparently the eels are looking to bring Milford into their side before cut off in August this year.. anybody who we would want to grab for a player swap?
If they want him now and take his any shortfall of his salary on, literally anyone.

They should be able to play cup this week or next, depending on Rona. NSW club's are trying to get an allowance to have 3 players join Q Cup teams to stay match fit.
Guarnteed if nsw teams can't get them in we will not be allowed to. It ss the way the NRL works. NRL is losing a lot of fans up here, I've heard more from people at work about the AFL being up here then the 12 NRL teams. 12 NRL teams up here and no one gives a shit! The NRL is living in fairy land

Apparently the Tigers are shopping Brooks around.

Now.. I know this probably won't be a popular opinion, but I still think he has something to offer. He's a left side specialist, which compliments Reynolds well. Regardless of his form, he's still a good runner of the ball, and isn't afraid to pin the ears back and take on the line. That's precisely what we need alongside Reynolds. His kicking game hasn't progressed as hoped, but it's still middle of the field, certainly better than the likes of Staggs, Gamble, Kelly, etc..

94 running metres per game - 3rd among NRL halves (Behind Cleary & B.Hunt)
98 line engagements - 3rd among NRL halves (Behind B.Hunt & C.Walker)
31 tackle busts - More than Gamble, Croft, Kelly, Dearden & K.Hunt combined for the Broncos this season
18 offloads - 5th among NRL halves (Behind B.Hunt, Cherry-Evans, Munster & Luai)
12 try assists - 10th among NRL halves

Depending on the asking price, of course, I wouldn't hesitate to offer him a 2 year lifeline.

No way!

That's disgusting.

Brooks is the main problem with the Tigers. Also, him and Croft look and play like they are twins. They both suck.. We still have to get Croft off our books for next year.. Gamble is so much better than both of them.

Nope, you would essentially be trading Milford for Milford. We need to move on from these frustrating types.

I think the most sensible thing to do could be to play Kelly at 6 and get him to replicate Cody Walker's role. It could be the safest option if we want to win games from the start of the season next year. Does anyone have any issues with this backline? Gamble can start off being 14 and push for the 6 during the season. Maybe he fills in elsewhere in the backline if there's an injury. I can picture him playing well in the centres. Tesi Niu at fullback is still debatable at this point. I'd be open to the Broncos recruiting a fullback if it were the right fit.

1. Tesi Niu
2. Corey Oates
3. Herbie Farnworth
4. Kotoni Staggs
5. Selwyn Cobbo
6. Albert Kelly
7. Adam Reynolds

No offence if I don't value your opinion in the slightest, you seemingly gain all your supposed knowledge from YouTube highlights and QCUP photos.

Brooks and Croft aren't similar in any sense of the word, Brooks has as many try assists this season as Croft has in his entire NRL career, let that sink in.

In fact the numbers completely disagree with everything you've just said. Brooks is a very good runner of the ball that's been shoehorned by the Tigers in to being a 'game manager', which he clearly isn't. Put him alongside a Halfback who is happy to lead the team around the park and is also elite at giving his outside men space to work with, and Brooks would absolutely shine.

Ha Ha Ha

Ridiculous.

Once again, not even close to an accurate comparison.

Brooks is better in every facet of the game than the current version of Milford, apart from maybe putting up spiral bombs from 40 metres out. He runs more, his runs are more efficient, he busts more tackles, he offloads more, his short kicking game is better, his decision making is better, he's more efficient & far more willing defensively, he makes fewer errors per game, he never stops trying.

Can we make up some excuse so he can retire effective immediately?
