I wouldnt be against a cut price offer (<300k) to Fergo for a season or 2.

I thought about it.. I'm not really sure he'd be a great fit for our culture.

There'd be nothing wrong with him on the field though. Technically a good signing at the right price but yeah maybe not the best fit right now.

I think the idea would be that we have both of them on the wings.. But yeah... I don't really want Fergo.. He seems more like the player that could replace Gagai at Souths.

The whole point of cutting the players we are right now is to get rid of the dickheads of the club

I'm not that upset about this. Souths were right to only offer him one year. Did we really want to throw big money at a 31 yr old with a reputation for slacking off in the regular season? It's not the end of the world.

I’m glad we didn’t sign Gagai he’s really not that good. Lee/Farnsworth and Staggs in centres next year is more than adequate. We need to sign a superstar 9,6 or 1 not another centre.

It’s annoying but hopefully it means we have 500k to spend elsewhere, maybe on a spine player like Hynes oh wait.

Agreed he's a bit of a luxury buy at this stage in his career.

I get that knights need outside backs, but he's probably not going to be that top tier finisher that they need.

Broncos needed him for experience and to plug a hole at left center. His meters out of his own end would've been helpful as well.

I would've thought Knights would be looking for a game breaking centre like peak James Roberts... not really sure Gagai is that player at the moment. He gets a lot of quality ball from the Souths backline at the moment.

They could've gone cheaper and grabbed a Naden, Waqa, Esan Marsters, etc. type center for better value for money
