Saw that... and it only had like 300 votes when I checked it out.
So either GC fans dont want him or the whole fan base is turning up to vote... could literally be either.
Anticipate sharks, tigers and Broncos fans to get in there and bump up the votes so he stays.... of course Vlando will cream his pants thinking his NSWRL puppet in SEQ has quadrupled in popularity
Badel says he expects the Broncos to announce Tesi Niu's re-siging after Friday's game against the Roosters. He's usually right about these kind of things.
Ikin:
“We are keen to keep Tesi. That will be a decision for Tesi ultimately, but we are in negotiations and we’ve made it clear we want Tesi to stay beyond this year. He and his agent have to weigh that up against interest from other clubs, but we’re hopeful of keeping him — we would really like him to stay beyond this year.”
Walters:
“I certainly think he can be our fullback based on what we have seen from him over the last month,” he said. “He had a couple of errors (against the Knights), but those high balls are hard to catch and he did some good things."
“He is still getting better as a fullback. He is still learning, he is still only 19 turning 20, so we’ll cut him some slack with a few of those errors. Tesi is doing some really good things and he is a Broncos kid. He loves the club, loves the place and we love him too.”
“All reports from the coaching staff is that he is a delight to work with. Tesi is great to have around the place. He is softly spoken, does whatever the coaching staff ask of him and he always prepares well and you can see that in his performance. Fullback is not an easy position to play, especially at his age, and he has been doing a fairly good job of it.”

As soon as it went over 1 and a half signatures, we were already talking other supporters involved.
Based on those quotes it sounds like Ikin is holding strong with the offer in front of him... a slight uptick in form hopefully hasn't seen us panic and bump up the offer in front of him.Badel says he expects the Broncos to announce Tesi Niu's re-siging after Friday's game against the Roosters. Or maybe opposition clubs aren't racing to sign him afterall............
When did he say that?Yep......sounds like Tesi was playing the media card by saying he wasn't going to be at the Broncos next year to get the club to up the dollars .
When did he say that?
So you’re telling me there’s no eyebrows raised @NRL if paps signs for 600k (happened) and B.Smith also signs for 600k.
lol
makes it even more weird with the comments his manger said. I dont think I have ever heard a manager say I was pleasantly surprised how high an offer a club offered his client. When people bring up Lockyer staying for "unders", they are being dishonest. Locker was being paid $500k (big money at the time) in his later years, but half of that was cap exempt because of the marquee allowance and the fact he'd been at the club for well over a decade.
We know how player managers work, especially with the big names. Bullshit games to drive up price. Even if the players themselves are getting $600k, you can bet the managers are pocketing far more than $600k's worth of commission in order to coax them to stay.
