It would be a win. Although I’d really love to keep TMM on circa $200-250k if it was possible. Very good backup for 1,6,7 or 14.I'd like that.

If they want Arthars then have at it. I like Arthars but he barely feels like he played for us so not really losing anything and in any case he would be a depth piece for us and nothing more. He would be in there currently with our outs but at full strength he doesn't get a look in.Apparently warriors CEO said they are doing a player trade with broncos. I imagine most likely one is Jesse Arthars, second most likely would be TMM.
Have a cry but Walsh literally has the play style of a 6 with the running game of a fullback. This is not Ezra being told get fucked we have a better option. Quite the opposite actually they have entrusted Ezra to be our long term 7 something I personally wouldn’t have the balls to do. To much risk. But if it means getting both Walsh and Cobbo into crucial positions in 2025 or whenever the **** it is well then that’s what it will take. If that means Ezra has to spend 2 hours a day for the next 1200 days in a kicking masterclass with Reyno, Alf and fucken Andrew Johns than that is what we do and we do it to be successful. The alternative is we don’t have a good enough 7 cause they just don’t exist on the market, Ezra is running the show from 6 which just ruins his play style, Reece is fullback and arguably our most dangerous player will still be stuck in the outside backs or at another club. Look our best options were starting to look like Jock Madden, Brad Schneider and Tyson Gamble for when Reyno retired. We just avoided a massive issue cause our premiership window isn’t only 2 years long anymore. For the last time Walsh is not a 6 Ezra is our 6. Please no one else lol
We can always go to market for a half if needs be. Seems to have worked out quite well with Reynolds…Well that’s where the issue might end up being in 3 years time that Ezra can’t crack Halfback. In which case we could be very directionless. Really I’d hope by than that both Reece and Ezra have superb kicking games and defence as well as having a good voice which seems to be the case already. By then Blake will hopefully be confident in his ability in the comp and for mine he is basically a 7 standing at dummy half very much like Cameron was and that will help as well.
Same. He was underappeciated here. A much better centre than we rated him, and we don't need him. Plus he's a legit Kiwi who can stand living there. Good for all concerned. If they want Arthars then have at it. That’s the entire point. No halves are hitting the market. Anyone with a half worth keeping is locked well and truely down. The options were so grim that Reynolds retirement was going to be a massive downfall for this club. Look this option has got heaps of work that needs to happen to make it successful but they have definitely optimised our outcomes and the longevity of our spine is great. We can always go to market for a half if needs be. Yes, he looks like a potential 6 to me, but how's his kicking game? He kicks penalties, but never a 40/20 or a field goal. Look not heaps but I saw that trial last year for us and I thought what the **** is he doing out the back. He managed that game entirely from fullback with his first game of rugby league against Men and actually first game of footy since leaving school it would have had to have been.Yes, he looks like a potential 6 to me, but how's his kicking game? Player movements happen all the time. Look at Walsh. Are you 100% certain there will be NO halves available in the remaining 2 years of Reynolds contract, or that a new one doesn’t emerge, including one within our own ranks or perhaps even that Reynolds doesn’t go around for another year? That’s the entire point. That’s a whole lot of iffs and buts to actually come true…
We will be fine, as long as we have that smart front office, we seem to have developed.
Not 100% certain but it’s not like we will be joining that market anyway as of this moment. There are a whole lot of ifs and buts that could change by then and that includes someone unexpected leaving us but the reality was the halves market was rather grim for us and we were 100% in the market for a replacement and we could either snag a youngster like Brad Schneider to wait or we just wouldn’t get a half at all. I can tell you something Brad Schneider is not waiting 2 years to play for us. Nobody we would sign would be worthwhile to the extent that we were collectively praying Tyson would hold the team together until we found a 7. Some were even pushing Jye Gray including myself cause we were just that desperate. Any option won’t be good enough to withstand the evident complacency they will have from looking over there shoulder every 2 seconds waiting for Mam, Walsh and Cobbo to be to good to deny from all being in the spine together add to the fact that anyone who isn’t Ben Hunt or Adam Reynolds have shit the bed in the halfback spot over the last decade. Tyson Gamble is probably being the next most competent one.Player movements happen all the time. Look at Walsh. Sam Walker will never leave the chooks. I have my money on it. The bloke has not looked back. Reece was a a very different proposition and it is why I am not surprised it happened. Every 2 seconds you hear he wants out and to come back. It was inevitable. If Mam doesn't progress the way the club and I think he will into a 7, hello Sam Walker!

Nah it’s just not happening it’s not the way Kevin and the broncos view it. Cobbo will be wing next year and either him or Mariner will move to Herbies centre position if Herbie leaves.Have a cry but Walsh literally has the play style of a 6 with the running game of a fullback. I will apologise to you if this does not happen:Walsh cannot handle being in the defensive line whereas Mam has had numerous try assists and scoring tries since debuting. And he’s defence has been better than good. He literally just won tackle of the week. Ezra at 6 Walsh at 1 nothing else even matters. Kevvie an Ikin have said Ezra is the long term 6.
