He’d be tearing up in nsw cup then?it would be hard to get any confidence as a half at the Knights ... O'brien changes them so often

been injured for a bit i think has him listed as out till next seasonHe’d be tearing up in nsw cup then?
You mean like Deardon? He looked ordinary for us when we were going shit, look at him nowNo. How do you go from “the future” at Cowboys to not making this Knights team?
I never thought Dearden was ordinary and I don't think any of us know exactly why he was moved on. Many here blame him for defecting to the Cowboys, but he would've stayed if we wanted him. It wasn't because of Reynolds and Mam, because both emerged after he left. You mean like Deardon? He looked ordinary for us when we were going shit, look at him now
Clifford had the same pack sans the addition of Nanai and Cotter. You mean like Deardon? He looked ordinary for us when we were going shit, look at him now

In the end, I think it turned out the better for us, but it might not have been by design.

How are you feeling now?If the fins get Walsh and Munster they’ll be a better team then us first year in.
I can’t deal.
My guess...How are you feeling now?
Fabulous, thanks for asking. How are you feeling now?
Well it's water under the bridge now but my take was Kevvie either didn't rate him or it was a team chemistry issue. He was dithering around with the halves at the time, and clearly wasn't happy with any of them. Milford was always the main problem, and still looks that way, but Croft and Dearden have flourished since leaving. Zero regrets, anyway.I think it was simply a case for the club needing to clear the decks. Their goal was a top level half, and paying Dearden would have soaked up a fair chunk of that budget.
