So, if we’re going by the titles alone, from the start of preseason, we’ll have 2 Development Coaches in Matt & the guy we’re importing from UK.
Wonder what do they ‘develop’?

Firstly development means they work with the youngsters. Matt also is no longer the development coach he is moving up to be a permanent assistant/Allan Langers understudy , for when he hangs up the boots. I think the reason for bringing in briers was he will likely be a more permanent addition to the development role, whilst also doing some top squad stuff, rather than pigeon holing Matt ballin to that spot who is in that phase where you move up ranks quickly whether that be to coach an isc team or stay as an assistant he is there or there abouts. For you to waste your breath and time trying to blame the development coach (youth) of 12 months probably not even for our shortcomings this season than you are merely way out of your depth to be commenting on the issue.

Te'o is coaching a Grand FInal this week; I find it hard to believe he is worrying about interviews this week.

Development coach still means top 30, Ballin has worked with the top 30 all season and is at every session and in the box every game.

Ballin works a lot with those guys at the bottom end of the 30 that are playing ISC, the guys that need development.

Still stand by I find it hard to believe he is doing it this week. I don't find it hard to believe he's being considered given he's had a good year.

Taylor played for the Dolphins so he'd certainly know if he had been marked for an interview but it's in Te'o favour to wait until next week.

So, clearly Kev doesn’t want the gig beyond next season hey? He continues to annoy with his shit & dumb decisions. Basically, he wants to surround himself with “Yes, men”.
I know a coach should have HIS say in the coaching department but evidently that doesn’t apply to our coach due to his …………….Why can’t DD & Ikin mandate who the Assistant should be for Kev is beyond me

there is not many if any coach that doesn't have a say in their assistant, other coaching staff sure but the assistant is something they should have a say in since they will be the one relaying their message the most.

Agree 100%. But, our alleged ‘savior’, can’t keep making diabolical selections(team lists & his assistants). There SHOULD absolutely be no room to his ‘yes men’.
Kev should aim for proven modern day assistants. I don’t who they’re but being a head coach at a club like ours, he should use all the resources available at our disposal to headhunt that chosen person.
