and lets take a quick look at that rumour as stated ... Macca back to us on a min wage deal.

that means that the Dragons would have to release him from the final year of his decent money deal to literally get zero in return. they don't even free up any cap space as they would have to replace Macca in their squad with someone on min wage while carrying 500k-odd of Macca's salary.

Re Riki, I would like to give him another season.

Reyno was starting to build a combo with him until it all went to shit. I think a full pre-season working with Reyno, we'll start to see him be more of an attacking threat, making more line breaks from well timed short balls and score more tries from grubbers.

Quite a few of those errors at the back end of the season weren't really Riki's fault. Reyno was throwing some bad passes to him.

I think both were at fault in that Riki a few times had got the timing of his run wrong but also Reyno gave the ball anyway when he should have held onto it and taken the tackle instead of giving him a pass to Riki which he had over run. Hopefully a timing thing they can sort out in the preseason.

So, if we’re going by the titles alone, from the start of preseason, we’ll have 2 Development Coaches in Matt & the guy we’re importing from UK.
Wonder what do they ‘develop’?

Your logic is flawed because those individuals would assume Billy is first picked still. so they won’t be for it because they won’t want a Billy/Macca hooker rotation

In all fairness, i think seibold is a smart coach analytics and details of the game. Just didnt translate into man management or actions on field. One day he could be a very good coach.
