Haas needs to understand that there's consequences for actions. I don't blame him for waiting till Nov 1, that is his right. But you sort of assume that Haas is thinking the Broncos will wait around for him. They might but that would be a mistake. If Haas wants to see what happens on Nov 1, the Broncos can see what's happening in the meantime and that might have a negative impact on what we can afford to give Haas, if anything.
There's no way we should not sign a million dollar forward if we can, just in case Haas decided to stay with us.

I think for some people yes, but you'd always get the people going WTF so 900k isn't enough for them to live on etc etc.

People get really weird about paypackets that have nothing to do with them/no direct impact on their life.

How would he have got more money in America? He got an offer to go to a training camp to test him. They get next to nothing for that in the scheme of things. Nobody offered him a contract. Loads of athletes get invited to them. Its absolutely laughable his management have the nerve to say its not about the money for Payne because he turned down a training camp. He pretty much said it wasnt worth the risk for him to do it. No financial gain for him at all.

Honestly, I think Payne is a bit too trusting of this management team and its not smart imo. I'm taking his words at face value but his management just seem to want to milk as much as they can regardless of what Payne wants.
