Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2023

I actually think if we could sign Mo and Arrow for the loss of Haas, that would be a good decision. we'd still have more than enough in the forwards to mitigate most of Haas' loss.

This makes more financial sense too for '25:
8. Mo
10. Willison/Jensen
11. Riki
12. Piakura
13. Carrigan

15. Arrow
16. Hetherington
17. Capewell/Te Kura

That's a more than good enough forward pack.

Sacrificing one top, top player and securing 2 good players makes the team stronger as a whole.

He and Anthony Seibold go to the same school of thought?
The irony is Pies never blamed us, but I - and probably everyone else here - knows a certain BHQer was actively spreading the Seibold rumours.

Hopefully lessons are learned on rumors told by "sources".

It's much different if it comes through you rather than a 3rd person.

It also proves for the millionth time that Badel gets his stories from here, so be careful with what you say.

true but you'll never get both for the same price as it would cost to keep Haas.

and that's assuming you could secure both players in the first place

I reckon we could get 2 players in who would improve us as a unit for around 1.2 million. They arent going to be Payne, but they dont need to be either.

How? The source is Paix's agent. Badel speaks to Donuts and Kevvie all day every day. Why would he need to come to a fan forum that has no inside information, and pretty much spends all its time discussing his own articles?

Could hear a pin drop in here as everyone tries to remember all the bad things they said about Seibold
Can remember clearly that the rumours didn't come from here though, only the contents of those rumours being posted.

I think there's clear differentiation for news that can be posted vs rumour without solid details. Ones without solid details should be expressed as such.

Not many journos in this day and age will leak information to a 3rd party risking their reputation on a "rumour". Half the time they are fed information to pass around to suit an agenda. My two sources write everything down pen and paper, photos/videos/recording when out and about to protect themselves and keep credibility.

No doubt some journos are questionable, they more likely drum up a rumour and go shopping it around in a sneaky way to get a response. Good sources will ask the question directly if they have heard something.
