There's plenty of valid reasons to go after Walters, but judging a coach based on losing quality players is misleading.Letting Walsh go, and then being unable to coach Dearden were early red flags. Hard to say to what extent Farnworth was a fuckup or whether his positional aspirations and market value led to him leaving. Releasing Capewell early while not having a replacement ready was braindead. Having to extend Reynold because he hadn't groomed a first class successor was a fuckup. As was extending Rogers, Paix, etc. The cards stacked up against Kevvie in the end. Losing all his assistants wasn't a good sign either.
I can agree to an extent on flip flopping on Dearden ahead of Round 1 2021, I disagree on Walsh. That had nothing to do with Kev's opinion on Walsh and had more to do with the situation he inherited. In fact, doing right by Walsh and the Warriors ultimately paid dividends.
