Look I'm as critical of Bruno as anyone, but seriously what was he supposed to do? Defy QLD Health advice to quarantine players from training? Forfeit the game and cop a massive fine from the NRL if not a massive lawsuit from Channel 9, sponsors?
Combined with last week's embarrassment, and a likely similar scoreline tomorrow, our season could well be fucked.
I just hope we infect a bunch of Bulldogs players with the flu tomorrow so they suffer this kind of shit for weeks to come. Yes, I'm serious. Level playing field.

You said yourself this is going to rattle us for a few weeks. Other players are going to be sick on and off for at least another couple of weeks.
We play next weekend without our Origin players.
Our for and against will be negative after tomorrow, and could be as low as 8th.
I reckon when we surface from Origin we could be on 20 points - just the 2 points for the bye before Origin 3.

Especially during Origin time when we expect losses. They still only get 2 points if they beat us by 2 or 200.
Although the For and Against could cost us.
All I want to see tommorow night is some heart, some determination, some guts! A turn around from the inspid performance against the Storm. I don't care if we get thrashed as long the players give their all.

Thought I read it wasn't just players, but coaching staff and others like strappers/physio etc, that level of disruption surely is unprecidented and requires more than a suck it up attitude.
I'm coming off the back of a cold, sit right infront the catered corporate suites, I'm going to threaten to sneeze on them if they don't give me a plate of springs rolls and curry puffs..

Origin players haven't trained with the squad for 2 weeks and only got out of isolation this afternoon and trained minus Hodgo & Hunt, with Hoffman and Clinton who wont play.... and the rest of the squad wont get out of isolation until late tomorrow and with Cyril's memorial on they wont get a chance to train... and its not just training, they haven't done any video work yet either... Its not whinging, we haven't had bad preparation we have had no preparation, the game should be played on Sunday...The Rock said:
