But Chris if Winterstein has contacted the virus and he was only in contact with Hunt and co for the short period earlier in the week when they attended training and had a team photo before the origin players at least were quarantined, then the club have absolutely done the right thing.

Interesting to note TAB still have a suspended market on the game, and believe me the betting agencies know what is happening. No doubt all will be revealed guess where, on Channel Nine shortly

club directors and coaching staff, we thought if the players wanted to
play, we would let them play.

"That is why we have made the decision to support them tomorrow night.

"We hope the Broncos fans will also come out and support them because it
is going to be a huge effort just to have got a squad on the field."

Game on, it's happening. Zero preparation. If the Broncos win it'll be the biggest win in the club's history.
 
A couple of things strike me, first here's an example of when the incessant Friday night games have accidentally stuffed us up. Second, when Henjack had a whinge about the disruption of SOO in the middle of the season, he didn't know how right he was. Hopefully this episode will add pressure to move the damn SOO to the end of the season.

Seriously this reminds me of the time when someone quit, then unquit, then decided to be a **** and then two other people said they would quit then didn't quit and yeah....
 
Question - If we use players from god knows where (anywhere), does it count as part of our salary cap?

Personally i was happy for the Broncos to stand their ground and not play. The only reason the NRL pressured them to play is because channel 9 runs the NRL office.
 
Bruno was just on the Fatty show. He basically said he's pissed at QLD Health for saying quarantine the players for 72 hours from Tuesday, and yet today say if they play on Friday is a matter for the NRL...like, what the?

I can understand his frustration. He and the Broncos were pretty much of the view that QLD Health said they shouldn't play this week, then the situation suddenly changed...and really they should've just been training as normal and treating it as normal - ie, isolate players who are sick.

And he's said that's what they'll do from now on.
 
Yeah I'm not Bruno's biggest fan, but he's tried to do the right thing here. He's just following the advice from people who are more "qualified" to make these decisions.

You can't tell a club they need have their players in strict isolation until after the game, then suddenly decide the day before that they're all allowed to play.

so only player we may be missing is Winterstein, also saw that Hoffamn trained this arvo with Locky,Wallace,Folou, Thaiday and Hunt so he may be the player to come into the side.
 
It is great for me and Rock the game is on! Not that it would have mattered much to us. The game being on just adds excitement to what should already be a cracking night.

Can't wait to get up there. Hopefully we can pull out a good performance and get back in the winners circle! However I think we will struggle lolz
