Feels like such a bradbury competition without Melb.

I know what you mean. The awesome part is, Melbourne has been the team knocking us out of the finals the past few years. If we peak at the right time, we'll go mighty close to a premiership this year.

As for our opposition on Friday..

1. Lachlan Coote
2. Michael Gordon
3. Michael Jennings
4. Adrian Purtell
5. Brad Tighe
6. Wade Graham
7. Luke Walsh
8. Tim Grant
9. Kevin Kingston
10. Matthew Bell
11. Trent Waterhouse
12. Frank Pritchard
13. Luke Lewis

Interchange:
14. Masada Iosefa
15. Nathan Smith
16.Sam McKendry
17. Gavin Cooper
18. Frank Puletua

On paper, I honestly don't know how that team is running second on the ladder.

Does anyone know what happened to that Panthers kid with the dyed blond hair who seemed like a real prospect for them?

I agree, but then people could have said that about our team last week, but yes, it certainly is surprising

Jarrod Sammut?

He's in the ESL under the nickname Jack Sparrow due to his new look.

He's a cult hero over there, he's come up with some awesome tries.

That was him, Sammut - what a shame he ran over to England at such a young age, but good on him for apparently being able to make the transition - thanks boys

A bit like the Broncos really. Excellent back row (Waterhouse, Pritchard, Lewis), solid front row (Bell, Grant, Puletua), good hooker (Kingston), decent halves, and a couple of strike weapons in the backs (Jennings, Coote, Gordon).

Broncos certainly have the edge over them on paper, but as we say cliched time and again, games aren't won on paper.

Anyone notice the fact that Corey has the (c) next to his name too?

Not making a big deal of it but just an observation I made

They probably just cut and past the team sheet fro last week making the necesary changes but since Corey hasn't changed position they simply forgot to remove the (c). Locky also has the (c) next to his name

Do we have any news on Lockyer, Thaiday and Folau yet?

Yes - Fox Sports have confirmed they are fit to play tomorrow night

NICK Kenny has finally won the injury battle and will play against the Panthers tomorrow night, Ivan Henjak tells Bronco TV today.

However Lagi Setu will be rested after a bad bout of concussion and Scott Anderson will safeguard bruised ribs, with Josh McGuire to head back to Queensland Cup for Norths Devils.

So kenny to play

Anderson,Setu and McGuire out.

Hrm, would feel happier if McGuire played given his high energy display last week, but Sims deserves to retain his spot too. Not so sure I'd have had Kenny walk up back into the team, but Henjak has faith in him. It's the Queensland way! :P

Bloody awesome, our forward packs is looking pretty awesome now...

Would be an awesome week if we can go 3/3 (Broncos Sunday, Queensland Wednesday and Broncos Friday).

Have all the confidence in the boys to get the job done and only they can beat themselves.

So, looks like I am going to this game. Managed to be able to leave after the Broncos game AND take the kids with us as well. Double win.

Anyone know if the busses will be going back to the leagues club after the first game?

Following the first game, four shuttle buses will run from Suncorp Stadium to Broncos Leagues Club from 8.30pm. Then following the second game at 10.15pm, one shuttle bus will run from Suncorp Stadium to Broncos Leagues Club

from the member mail

Should be a pretty good crowd there. Only 10000 tickets left!

They always get a great crowd after a home Origin win!

So will we have one game discussion thread or two? Since it is not live tonight.

Being that it is only a half hour wait i would hope most people can wait for the TV.
