"Pete's out," Wallace's manager, Allan Gainey, told the Herald last night. "I've spoken to him and he told me the specialist said he would be taking too big a risk if he played that soon. He could be at risk of losing the testicle if he got a heavy knock, so it's just too delicate a situation.
"Pete is pretty disappointed, but he's a resilient bloke, so he'll bounce back. Brisbane have got the bye after the Origin game, and he's aiming to start playing again after that."
