Broncos Vs. Roosters - Match Thread

BTW, how was that a benefit of the doubt try?
Seriously, it seemed like the video's refs little way of giving us the finger - seriously!?!?!?!

Bit of a stretch to say the Storm have 4 good players, they have multiple rep level forwards.

locky has been at sea for as long as Columbus at the moment, put him into dummy half

Funny you say that, cause I think Lockyer looked good from dummy half a few times in the second half.

Don't compare the storm.
They have super stars in Centre, Half, Hooker and Full back, 4 KEY positions.
We have a superstar 5/8, that is it.
If we had Folau and Hodges on both sides of the ruck and Parker in the forwards defending his arse off we would of tore the roosters a new one.

We had good attacking opportunities but lack of real centres meant they couldn't be finished off.

I will eat my words and Sims changed my mind about him tonight. Soon as he came back on he made an impact. We started to fail when he left first half and struggled until he came back on. Glenn played quite well tonight. Wallace was average, Locky didn't have a good game at all. Yes the team is a young side, but frig me they should've played better. Absolutely no direction or clue in attacking and defense for most part was lazy. What the hell did Henjack do with the guys leading up to the game? I think we could've won quite easily with the below average defense if attacking was up to scratch.

Probably concentrated on defense which kind of came off.

Just saw someone comment about Glenn tonight, hmmm... maybe I was wrong about him having a good game. Think I was just so cranky at the other guys making stupid mistakes and he didn't make any that it could've clouded my judgement. Anyways, very very dissapointing game. I want to blame someone for it and I think Henjack is clueless without his start players to do all the work. Does he even know his team at all?

we miss k's talk at the back

I miss the sweet sound of his voice and his big muscely thighs!!

Thought 2nd half was a good effort. Pleased for Sims, thought he played pretty well with some well timed runs. Defence 1st half was poor, didn't put them on their backs or turn them in the tackle which lead to quick play the balls and easy dummy h scoots.

Lockyer owes the whole team a beer each, he's forgotten what a hole looks like and sends half hospitals. As someone mentioned before they need to get deeper, too much pressure and our timing isn't good enough yet.

Hope Henjak doesn't do what he did last year with changing positions during the match. We need to build confidence and this is done by getting to know how the man inside and outside of you plays.

We miss him tonnes, damn him and his gayfl!!!
We really someone like him again, also need so direction - Ivan needs to have Locky and Wallace working with under 10s this week so they can refocus on how to direct a bunch of rabble, because we won't stop being rabble until our 6 and 7 give us direction

Yeah what was with the shuffling of positions?

At one stage Winterstein was defending in the ruck, Gillett was on the wing, Beale was centre

Smacks of desperation

The more I read peoples comments the more I beginning to believe Henjack is not a good coach unless he has good players to do the work for him.

I think Gilett was injured, he didn't look as nimble as usaul.
